This game was a significant portion of my childhood and it’s nice to just play it every now and then sometimes, nothing will ever top it’s soundtrack for me.
Nothing will top this games soundtrack for me. Brings back such memories. I wish I could play it frequently but unfortunately can't due to adult obligations. Wish more MMO's could capture what LOTRO has. Truly a gem of a game. To this day I'm grateful for my friend who pulled me from WoW to give this game a shot. Instantly was sucked in and quit WoW!
I remember when I first heard Chance Thomas, War of the Ring by Sierra Games. The music blew me away then, especially the Mirkwood stuff. Then all his amazing work on LOTRO blew me away too. He really knows how to capture the feeling of the world inside music. To me its as emblematic to the setting as Howard Shores music.
