2007 Buick LaCrosse No low beams/dims HDM Relay

I am simulating a common problem on this model car 2007 Buick LaCrosse. Some of these models have a headlamp driver module relay that malfunctions and cuts the power to your low beams on your headlights. In this video I’m showing you how to jump the relay in case of an emergency.  Jumping this relay will give power to low beams but will not turn the headlights off until jumper wire is removed.
The part number for this relay is # 15016745
This relay can also be called the Low Beam Headlight relay. It is around $45 dollars at a parts store.

Good info thanks. Since the high beams work, one other option is to take 3-5 strips of masking tape and put them across the top half of the high beam light. If you have blue tape or duct tape that should work also. The idea is the block the light amount and block the light that is going up. So its enough to see the road but not have your full high beams at other drivers. You may need to experiment around with it. Not long term solution, but enough to get you home or until you can buy a new relay.

great little video, i have 2006, same car, my lights COME BACK ON after i have pulled the key and turned them off! yeah, just sittin there, on they go all on their own . . . problem with the same relay?
