Maybe someone already told you to do this, maybe not to do it, but I think you should see the Hazbin Hotel pilot before the show. It's about the only piece of media from which the show was born, as if the showrunners count on you to know the setting already. Can't wait! 👍

The making of Arcane "Bridging the Rift" is a great way to sate your appetite for Arcane content. Plus it really gives you an appreciation for much risk Riot took and how much trust they give to their creators. They set out to change the world of animation forever. Boy, did they do that and some.
I actually think they should react to it for the channel!

Mel's chances aren't looking too good. I'm still holding out a tiny sliver of hope, but I'm very scared. That last image matching the statue in the intro is insane.
Mel is definitely dead, her mum wouldn't be going to war if she was still alive. Same with Cait's mum, judging by how furious Cait looks in this trailer.

@@OutOfPocket-h9e Nah, the mom said to Cait "YOU will have justice" not "WE will have justice". And Mel's mom said in previous season that she wants war to happen and she came specifically for that reason, to test and take Hextech weapons. So if Mel even got hurt she'd probably still fight for her, she doesn't have to be d3ad.
And Mel's shield was shinning at the end of s1 even tho it was under her clothes not visible, can't help but think Riot did that on purpose. Idk if she's alive but her chances aren't that slim.
@armyb140 True but the show has been very artistic with its visuals, who's to say that the "glow" of the gold plating in Mel's attire is not just a stylistic choice? It could signify a potential magic shield, sure, or it highlights that she's dying first as the missile was going straight for her, Mel's chances of living is that slim. Not to mention Mel's mum in the trailer said "YOUR council is dead" , she's clearly saying this to a council member, meaning only one council member survived and it's obviously gonna be Jayce as he is a playable character, "You will have justice" I don't think Mel's mum is saying that to Cait, as these two have no business with each other BUT Mel's mum and Jayce does, this line is definitely part of the first line I mentioned thus she's having a conversation with Jayce.

Both the Yordle in the top hat and the statue that most assume is Jinx or Caitlin are actually both Chembarons which you see in the group meeting that Silco gets called to and he puts them in there place by releasing toxins and then gives them masks.
I've been hyped for S2 since Dec 2021, lol.
While I could easily spend 10-15 pages just discussing how they animated Arcane, I'll just point out that despite it being 3D, there's way more 2D involved than people think (and I'm including traditional 2D animation principles in here, too). Studio Fortiche made a ton of smart choices that definitely involved more work, but the end result was completely worth it, especially since it put it in the hands of the artists, and not relying on a bunch of simulations to (hopefully) do the heavy lifting correctly. That crew deserves ALL the praise they get for it.
I know there's a behind the scenes called "Bridging the Rift", but I never watched it, since I already knew exactly what Fortiche did to make the show look that damn amazing. It might be something y'all could be interested in, if it includes the Fortiche crew in there, and not just people from Riot.
And I'm probably the only person that actually liked the ending to season 1, because it worked thematically. If it had been a "one and done", I'd have been bummed, but (IMHO) that ending fit the season perfectly. Literally the only flaw I've found in the show was that kid in Ep 8 not dying on impact when he hit the ground, after Jayce shot him. Having him linger on after falling several stories was nonsensical, and had I been at Fortiche, I'd have fought to fix that.
Now, I'm gonna be REALLY bummed in S2 if they don't manage to sneak the little domgoblin from the brothel in Ep5 into the background of a street fight, with them in their gimp suit, and just beating the crap outof an enforcer with a riding crop and a giant floppy dildo as a "blink and you'll miss it" gag.
(In my younger days, I was taught by some illustrators and old-school animators from Disney and Warner Bros, and their habit of "hiding naughty things in plain sight as a gag" rubbed off on me, loil)

Riot have confirmed they will be moving on in the world of Runeterra after this season, although some characters will reappear. I'm honestly predicting it'll go the Ionia / Noxus route, considering what Singed has in connection between them both (if you know you know).
Also this season will finish each main persons story as part of the "Arcane" series :D!
Finally the first episode will be released the day of the League Championship final!

IIRC enforcers are not just piltover's police, but also essentially their military. So if Vi is going to war itdmake sense that she'd joined.

I'm definitely curious to see how Vi ends up being an enforcer, considering how she feels about Piltover. Seeing how much Vi wanted Powder back in season 1, to "my sister's gone" showing she doesn't/can't love Jinx is, I'm not gonna lie, disappointing. I kind of understand though, since how can you have a relationship with someone after everything Jinx's done? Like Vi might still love her sister, but with the way the trailer is, their relationship's done, which is upsetting😭😭😭😭. Anyways, can't wait for November.
This might sound like a bit much, but Vi becoming an enforcer for any reason other than Jinx would be character assassination for me. It seems like she's really uspet about it, but I genuinely can't see how the story would make her an enforcer considering her backstory *without* it being about her thinking she needs to join the enforcers to find Jinx before someone who wants to kill her does, or something of the sort. Considering that not only did the enforcers kill her parents, oppressed her and her people for years, and beat her up in jail since she was a teen, Jinx is the only reason for her becoming an enforcer I can picture in my head. But I do trust the Arcane writers (I feel like they've earned it after that first season), so we'll see where this goes.
Important thing to note about "Final Chapter" is that while yes, Arcane is ending with its second season, there are more projects under Riot/Fortiche that won't be under the "Arcane" name as that belongs to the story of Jinx and Vi

My guess is that after Arcane we'll get a show set in Noxus (where Mel and her mom are from), since Noxus has already shown up in Arcane, and seems to be playing at least some role in season 2 with all those Noxian troops.
To answer your question, the beast’s name is Warwick. He’s one of the champions from LOL and everyone’s been speculating that Vander has been transformed into Warwick after his death in Act 1.
According to the creators, while this is the final chapter of Jinx and Vi's story in Zaun/Piltover, there WILL be more content in other parts of Runeterra (the name of their overall world), possibly including movies, so this isnt the last of LoL animated content lead by Fortiche, in fact, this seems like only the beginning!
arcane focuses on about like 10ish characters from league and there is about 170 now or something and multiple big intricate cities like piltover/zaun. As a league fan Vi and Jinx wouldn't have even been near the top of the list of exciting league characters to see for me personally so as much as arcane was a masterpiece there is still so much more potential for cool stuff afterwards to look forward to
Working for the "man" not really that off brand for "The Piltover enforcer" which is her champion tag line in game this is always where we were going

League’s Vi was just a poorly written caricature that only really existed to sell skins. Arcane Vi is an actual, developed character and they are really have to sell this with more than “well the game did it” because, frankly, not all the games writing was any hood and Arcane was magnitudes better than the best of it.

While yes, this is the "final" chapter, it is merely the closure of the Piltover/Zaun/Vi/Jinx storyline. Christian LinkedIn, co-creator of Arcane, already confirmed that they're working on their next, and I quote "projects across television and film" with their partners at Fortiche, the animation studio for Arcane. While it is bittersweet that the Arcane storyline will come to a closure, they are gonna keep the shows and, I suppose, the movies coming, exploring the rest of Runeterra (the world in which Arcane takes place) and it's endless amount of awesome stories and characters. So yeah, Arcane is effectively the birth of the LOLCU (that's what I'm gonna call it😊)
I also wouldn't be shocked if characters from Arcane showed up across the new projects.

Because Singed would be essential to Noxus' invasion of Ionia, that is if the Noxians don't already make him work for them in season 2, and as for Ambessa, well... @@YourBishMariaTeresa A show set in Noxus dealing with their internal politics and backstabbing would be so good. It's also probably the easiest to make a new show take place there because the audience will already be somewhat familiar with them (even more so in season 2, I'd say), and then use it to jump to pretty much any other region since Noxus has their fingers in so many pies.

It's the Final Chapter for the Vi/Jinx story. From what I remember they plan on covering a lot of stories in the League of Legends universe. :3 This won't be the end, but also kinda the end.

It's the end of the chapter in Zaun. They're going to different cities and new characters (over 300).
btw its only 2 seasons for arcane and this storyline, but its already confirmed they gonna go to other storylines and regions after.

At least the good thing is, while Arcane's story is ending with this season, there are going to be more series and films set in the world of Runeterra and telling the stories of other champions.
Fun seeing people who know nothing about the game find out Vi becomes an enforcer because in the game she already is one. Together she and Caitlyn are known as "Piltover's Finest" which is where their ship name came from.
The creators are going to make MORE, but this is the end of the Piltover Saga.
To find out a little more about what Vi will become, here is what a French cinema magazine "Première" who attended the presentation of Arcane during the Annecy festival said:
Season 2 continues to explore the relationship between Vi and Jinx and through the middle of the series, but both sisters are seriously evolving. And one scene particularly symbolizes Vi's mental journey. Christine Ponzevera explains: “Vi is a protective heroine. This is its definition, its reason for being. But in season 2, we wanted to go further with this character. The question was simple: what would happen if Vi was alone, with no one left to protect? Vi becomes a boxer who fights in clandestine arenas. “We wanted to show Vi lost,” adds Arnaud-Loris. She no longer has a home, her life is only made up of fights, violence, and she navigates between the fighting pit, the bar and her room. » [...]

Another important step is clothing. For this scene, the studio imagined a particular look for Vi and in particular a studded leather jacket, decorated with a magnificent badge/logo representing a two-headed wolf - “a way of reminding us that in the game, Vi was a killer of the jungle and at one point beats two wolves..."
I believe that season 2 will not leave us intact. We will have to prepare ourselves, if we can...
It looks like the studio is planning on making other series in the Arcane universe so i guess it's going to last a while.
Technically, Zaun has always been under the jurisdiction of the enforcers. They just mostly ignored it. I'm thinking maybe Vi is in charge of the under city, while Cait is the Sheriff of Piltover. But since she is from the under city, maybe Vi gets a little more respect than a native of Piltover would in Zaun.

HI There Letts React i have a recommendation for you the anime is called blue lock one season (24 episodes) it has full English DUB so you don't have to worry about that and is a great sport anime to watch and season 2 is coming out this fall of 2024 in October I was hoping you guys would give this anime a shot and might also catch up to the madness that is about to happen in season 2. anyway can't wait for arcane to come back so excited
As a league lore nerd, I can confidently say that there is plenty more for the writers to adapt. Piltover and Zaun are not the only regions on Runeterra. There is the celestial mountain Targon, the desert empire Shurima, the secluded elemental mage civilization of Ixtal, The pirate harbors of Bilgewater, the home of the undead, the Shadow Isles, the spiritual land of Ionia, the magically racist kingdom of Demacia, the harsh north of the Freljord, and of course you know the expansionist empire of Noxus. In fact, having this many other places to tell stories in is one of the key reasons for why Arcane will end with season 2.
A lot of people suspect the next series may depict the conflict between the Solari and Lunari tribes on Mount Targon due to Mel and her mother's percieved connection to the Solari sun worshippers.

The show Runners Clarify that is "The Final Chapter" for this story of the sisters, n they will move to new characters n cities in order to explore the world. there are over 150 character in the game that they need to explore. how about the other racers n sentient creatures/bean's in this world.

Look, I wouldn't call the first season "light on action" in the slightest, but it was much more of an origin story for the champions of Piltover and Zaun.
This season, they should be more like their League of Legends selves, so now the REAL games can begin . . .

This *last chapter* will be the end of the story of vii ,jinx and cait. But dont worry it will have other series because league of legends gave so much storys much cooler and dramitic as Arcane, so i can see league of legends doing just like marvel... it will have multiples storys and maybe they will interact with each other in the future in a BIG end.
So, "Arcane" will only be two seasons, with them being focused on the Piltover and Zaun regions and champions.
Kenny is right that there are WAY more in League of Legends, and Riot plans on more series to explore them.
