Sterling Jarvis and Joy Tanner are fantastic vocalists. Jarvis killed it at 8:54 and Tanner REALLY killed it with 35:11 and 40:47. They both made a great duet as well at 48:33. The two songs from Tanner I listed in particular especially "Fall for a Hero" I feel could legit play on the radio and unless you know this show you wouldn't guess it was from a 90's CGI cartoon about Nintendo apes. Jarvis also has another fantastic solo in season 2 called "If I Wasn't Around" which is my favorite next to "Fall for a Hero".

As someone who never watched this show growing up, here's my two cents on these songs: A lot of them (especially the ones with DK singing and Season 2) aren't all that bad, they're pretty entertaining and the music itself is pretty catchy, so because I came with the mindset of low expectations from these songs, they actually became fun to listen to... by themselves. I think the reason these songs are written off as "bad to god awful" is because they interrupt the episodes, especially due to how they tend to pop out of nowhere and serve little bearing to the plot. This is why I watched the songs before the episode, It gives me a good insight on what to expect from them, which makes it easier for me to enjoy them regardless of how dumb they are :P

Like...determine the best 10 or 15 tracks and write a DKC musical, with some of the songs being turned in to full-length ones (3.5min Nobody's Hero is a classic waiting to happen).
