At glamis testing again after a complete overhaul, taking off the Walsh kit and installing the JB kit.
racing up olds hill testing to see how hard the new motor pulls up the hill? thought the raptor would race me, ill race him in another video!
This riding was all in map 1 of 3. The standard map with no traction control on.
So cool to see you hit 50! Best 12 minutes of my life.

@@MFFilmsAZ thanks. I have a 2014 se edition. But ive done alot to it. After port and polish to the head and tb it only made about 54hp on the dyno. A stock new bike makes like 62 so im thinking it will be much better to start with lol. I also thought about just going w a 15 and newer raptor 700. With the big 3 they make crazy power

How hard was to install everything
Also what sprocket ratios are you running? Dirt bikes are geared really high internally since they have like 50 tooth rear sprockets. If you run a stock TRX sprocket (38 tooth) you’ll be super tall like you said. Look into dropping a tooth in the front and going as big as you can find in the rear (probably a 40 tooth or so)
Honesty not sure. I think the front is 13 or 14 whatever is stock and I think it's a 38 or 39 rear. I like it honestly I ride really low in the power but for the hill 3rd gear was about perfect.
@@MFFilmsAZ yeah something like a 12-40 would gear it down to make it closer to a traditional TRX, but if you like it, all the better!
@@ethanstansfield8248 yeah the spacing seems good for the hills. It's got the power to pull the taller gears.

Are the Trx and crf450 motors different. I just assumed it was a crf450 motor in trx
Very different yes!
I know the yfz 450 and the yz 450f have different gear ratios. The yz 450f 1 gear is like 2nd gear on the yfz 450. Alot of guys do the swap for gncc racing

What impressions? the CRF engine is more peaky or high revving than the TRX? more power less tq?
Revs faster higher, has more power, torque is different due to cam

What sprocket setup are you running?

@@MFFilmsAZ I was running a 13/38 which is factory and was fine. I did a full exhaust and FCI intake and got it dynoed at 42hp and went to a 12/38. I feel like a 12 makes it a great climber, but dragging up hill it hits peak speed too soon. Your build makes more power than mine, but I was thinking of doing a 13/40, it was recommended to me by OCP.
