Waze on a Volkswagen?!?! How to set it up.

Waze works on all trim levels of the 2019 Jetta, 2018 Tiguan, 2018 Golf Family, 2018 Passat and 2018 Atlas. Simply plug in your compatible Android device and follow the steps. Android Auto is truly amazing.

Hey Guys...
I just got myself a brand new Golf GTi and it has the same infotainment system as in the video... Just that the Voice button in the car doesn't work cause it's not activated for my trim level... Anywayz... I have a slight problem .. m using a One Plus 5T which is connected to the car with the original Cable .. and everything works fine but Waze... I have managed to have it work only once out of the 100 tries I must have done... I do the exact same steps as u guys and as soon as I click on Waze... The entire screen goes blank ... Except the buttons on the bottom... Home Music etc... Am I doing something wrong.. or missed a step... Please help... 🙏🙏🙏

Do I need gps in my car to work or, or can i juste have internet to use waze?

When I use the satellite view option in my VW Atlas, the view is choppy looking and is illegible after a few minutes of use. I'm using a Note 8. Would that be a Volkswagen or Android Auto issue? Great video.

I also use a Note 8 and have only seen it get choppy once when I lost service. The car really only mirrors what the phone is doing so I could imagine the if the phone had too many apps open or something of that nature it may struggle.
