This passage confirms Jesus Christ didn't required additional knowledge to go in so called Nalanda College.

Ohh really?at the age of 12,jesus was arguing with the religious heads in jerusalem.. From where did he get knowledge to argue with them. Religious heads were not in a position to answer him.. I dont think education is necessary for him.
I have seen in some of the videos, some people say that He was in India between 12-18yrs . I'm not sure about it but, when Jesus was 30yrs old He and His family went for the baptism of Jesus. The gates of heavens were opened and a voice was heard from heaven saying "You are Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased". (Luke 3:22) this means that was observed by the Heavenly Father. In detail the original rest of the scripts have been preserved in St.Catherine Monastery, Mt.Sinai. The certain significant miracles and events only have been recorded in the present translations.
st. JOHN has recorded in his gospel " Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written" (John21:25)

Acharya Do you know the records of Jesus up to 12 years. Then why talk, only about 18yrs., from his age 12 to 30. Common sense will suggest he was with his parents up to 12 yrs and the same way from 12 to 30 yrs ie 18 yrs.
Mark 6:3 Isn't this the carpenter? Isn't this Mary's son and the brother of James, Joseph, Judas and Simon? Aren't his sisters here with us?" And they took offense at him.
Here when Jesus started preaching at the age of 30, people recognised him as the carpernter's son and Mary's son. so that suggests that he was in his home town.
Acharya, even if you would have left home at 12 and came back at 30, nobody will recognise you. The same goes to Jesus. Another reason why he started public preaching at 30 is because in the Jewish culture, nodody will be accepted as a teacher in public unless he is 30 yrs of age. I think Yogeeshashram is the oldest living person on earth since he was the lecturer who taught Jesus at the University of Nalanda. So, he was saying people of India even taught God about the truth. Great!

Jesus never lived in Jerusalem, he went there at Passover and, of course, was crucified there. He was born in Bethlehem, & lived in Nazareth, although the latter might be a mistranslation of Jesus the Nazarene, Nazarenes being a religious class in ancient Israel, and there are no maps from those times with a town called Nazareth. "Carpenter" in the original Greek of The Gospels is "Teknon" which might mean different things, from builder to teacher, "Tekne" meaning simply knowledge or skills.

Even though I am an Orthodox Christian I will not argue in every claim but saying there was only one university in the world at that time is absolutely false. Greece was full of universities, Italy had universities too. This is a fact verified from thousands of sources and noone can ever deny it(at least a logical person).

There are documents which seem to prove that Jesus visited India, studied with Bhramins there and in Buddhist monasteries in Tibet. He was known as Isa. These documents were found by Notovich in the late 1800s, and the information published again by Kursten about 20 years ago. There are lots of similarities between Jesus' teachings and Buddha's. It's likely that Jesus studied in Egypt as a child and was familiar with Greek philosophy like Plato, Pythagoras & the Stoics in Galilee.
You have a good knowledge what i am having around 3 years ago. I have heard of all things about Jesus specifically and generally. The point is where was Jesus for 18 years. Because like all others he lived life like an ordinary guy like you and me. And he did not open his public life like a leader during that period. He helped his father and mother during that time.

This is the third time I'm telling you, He called Himself the Son of God, and He also said that He and His Father are one. Also, calling himself the Son of God equated him with God, as this is evident from the Jews being upset and crucifying him. The church was founded by Christ Himself, unless you're talking about the Catholics, in which case they're not even a part of Christianity. Nobody had to establish or make up the claim that Jesus was God. Jesus Himself established that pretty well.

A personal opinion only:There have been many wise men in many areas all
over of the world during the existence of mankind, probably many more in
prehistoric times than we know of today. They had been enlightened by a self
awareness of kindness and tried to convince people to love and accept each
other, to rejoice in the wonderful feeling a person can experience when helping
another to overcome fear, depression, hunger, anger, etc. I believe the problem
arises when someone documents their teachings and others decide it should become
social law or religion. Power hungry control freaks rewrote this documentation
and made claims that it was the word of a punishing God that would strike you
down if you did not obey the carriers of "The Word". As world
travelers and communications expanded these different cultures came in contact
with each other and they disagreed with one another's dogma resulting in civil
conflict, war and death. Why can't we all drop the dogma and just get along?

There is almost nothing about Christ between almost 2 years to 30 years. Not just 13 to 30. There is one mention of his life in 12 years. Actually the question should be why all of sudden a sporadic incident in 12 years. In Jewish context at 12 years, a boy becomes man. It is important to see what Christ said to his mother after she found him in the temple conversing with elders in the temple. Mary asked Jesus "why did you do this to me and your father". Jesus replied "I am in my Father's business". He was mentioning about his heavenly father. I suppose Mary has not told anything about her miraculous conception but Jesus knew even before Mary states it. However, expect for this small snippet, there is no mention of any activity of his childhood, teen of youth life. At the end Christ did not leave any material possession, lest it would have become an idol. Also the things he taught are diametrically opposite to what Indian philosophies are. Buddhism at its core is atheistic. Wish the person reads the bible and then speaks..

I'm just simply going to reply to the title because a lot of ppl say that parts of Jesus life is missing... Jesus himself was quoted as saying " if everything I did was recorded, the world itself would not be able to contain it" the bible in its entirety is enough for mankind.. Furthermore... Gods voice was audible Frm heaven on 3 different occasions.. He said "THIS IS MY SON WHOM I APPROVED LISTEN TO HIM" and in genesis the scripture says "let us make man in our image" us means more than one...also the scripture refers to Christ as Gods master worker..again when he was brought b4 pontus pilite Jesus told him he's does nothing of my own initiative, but the will of him that sent me...clearly God and Jesus are not the same

Read the book "The Aquarian Gospel of Jesus the Christ" that was published in 1908. I have the 1936 edition. It details Jesus's entire life including the missing years that he traveled to other countries.
I read the Bible every day and nothing in here conflicts. I would like to point out that the reason people were troubled by Jesus' teaching is not bc they didn't like new things but bc the Romans had control at that time and people were not allowed to live if they did not agree that there was only one king. So those in charge of the Jewish population, of which Jesus was a member, had to consider what might happen to all of them if Jesus became too popular. Regardless thx for this info :)

Jesus probally help Joseph in the carpenter business, Jesus was the first born son, Mary and Joseph had other children.

There were two universities then, where Chinese, Tibetans and others came for education. They were Nalanda and Takshashila, also called Taxila in the history books compiled by the British.

Hindus like Acharya Shree Yogeesh are realising that Jesus is the only God. It's a good sign. As Shree Yogesh said "Jesus is the only God". I request Yogesh to read bible everyday and teach bible to others. That way you can make more people know like you did that Jesus is the only God.

@ruzickaw actually historians are pretty sure that he was educated... during those missing 18 years! if he had not recieved an education he would have been illiterate. in the bible they make it very clear that Jesus read scripture.

it isnt an attack to explore an idea, you may not accept it but thats different, an educated person can entertain an idea seriously without neccesarrily accepting it. I think when we all die, everything will be cleared whether or not Jesus was good or Bad or whether he died in Cross or Kashmir. But my logic says that He was dead and ressurected and did not come to Kashmir. Because, distance from Kashmir to Isreal is almost 6 months journey by walk and you can see the wounded footprint on the stone, shows that it was really new.
