I love the harverster with 4 crates. Once you have 4 crates full, it gives you more than enough time to load these crates on a trailer before the new ones are full. The forklift attachment is fun to use and very forgiving when picking these crates up. You can pick up 2 at a time or stack them and then lift on a trailer. The new International farmall is a good tractor to use it on because it has a cvt transmission and a small turning radius. It is nice to have on a reverse drive tractor like a valtra or a fendt. I've also seen these being used at the front of the tractor in real life, together with a double palletfork in the back so they can move 3 or 4 crates at once to the edge of the field where the trailer is waiting. Anyways, great video! I love this DLC more than i thought i would. Cheers
Great video! I'm a noob. I took a beet contract for the first time because it paid $15000. Never again! Most frustrating contract ever. The leased tractor was too tall to go under the conveyor. So I had to pull past it and spend 3 min backing into perfect position with trailer. I don't like beets anyway. Lol
Just FYI, but Giants put autoload into the game for consoles with the bale storage update. The trailers in the game will autoload on console, no mod needed.
The See and Spray tech is not locked to John Deere sprayers. The Kvernland sprayers that were DLC in FS19 were released as free mods by Giants for FS22. They were updated when Precision Farming came out to include See and Spray functionality.
When I make statements in these kinds of videos I do not talk about mods. I talk about base game equipment. Anything is possible with mods. A mod could be released the day after a video is published that totally changes a statement in the video. What does not change is base game equipment.
@FarmerKlein I'm mentioning this because the mod is made by Giants. Therefore, the choice to not include Spot and Spray is not a licencing reason, rather a design choice by Giants

I love the expansion, except for the one thing you also kept repeating; the zero capacity harvesters and in general harvesters that workers can not use appropriately (driving through the crop). I'm a pc player that has that uses mods, but I still don't like that Giants didn't come to a solution for this problem themselves.

In Precision Farming you do need to fertilize, however it doesn't use any fertilizer. It just allows game to set proper fertilizer level for that particular crop.

The single row 4 pallet harvester is the one I would choose to use, that is what I think before I have tried it myself. In terms of the impression I get through your video. I don't like that the biggest harvester doesn't have storage capacity, that's why it isn't a choice to spend such an huge amount of money on it
Hopefully, the Colossus Pack will be updated quickly so we have some harvesters we can actually use on single player. Given the mods available on PC, it is really inexcusable that the base game worker system is still so utterly useless.

It's weird how no one has addressed the lack of storage for the new crops outside of crates. Where do you store them if you're not going to just sell them as you're harvesting?
I didnt mention it because I honestly struggle with what is 'common knowledge' vs something that truly folks do not know and is worth mentioning. My thought was talking to storage was not needed because everyone knows you cant store potatos or beets in a traditional grain silo so the only storage for them is in heaps. Now it would be nice to have something added like the root crop storage building that was a silo for them. I also feel that Giants does not have a firm grasp on what many players will want to store all of their harvest for the best time to sell. I really feel they think most players will go direct from field to sell point if they are not doing production with the goods but we know that is not really the case the desire to max profits is great.
The trailer I am using is the base game bale trailer and I am using Universal Autoload which adds autoload to that trailer. Just want to make sure as there are various autoload mods out there. Beyond that I would verfy the autoload settings are correct for picking up any pallet type and that its picking up on the correct side, etc.
Do you have to have premium expansion to do this there was a root crop silo/bunker mod I added that said it added these as new croos but couldn't find them anywhere in my game
The new crops are part of the premium expansion. The mod you referenced only added support for these new crops. With out the premium expansion your not going to have the new equipment or the new crops.

@@randystephenson6963 Never run into that issue. My first guess would be a mod is somehow causing this and would focus on mods that affect growth or time. Make sure the growth calendar is acutally enabled. I have always seen it change at the next month transition.
Im sorry I forgot to include it in the description I have added both the autoload mod and the addon which adds that functionality to many flatbed mods from the mod hub.
I thought I was going to love that harverster with the 4 crates, but the price of the crates is just absurd. 540 euros for 4 wodden crates? Are they taking the piss? You don't even get the crates back when you sell the crop and at a cost of 540 for every 8000 liters, you can buy a new machine by the end of the harvest just with the cost of the crates.
$130 per crate to buy them and you get $230 per crate when you sell them so harvest enough and you can buy the harvester with the profit you make on crates alone.
@@FarmerKlein They buy the crates back for almost double? why? I fail to see the point in even charging for the crates to begin with. Getting more money back from something you did nothing to produce feels like cheating.

Maybe your supposed to get just the cost of the pallet back but I would have figured that would have been a quick discovery in testing so the $100 bonus must be on purpose. call it a rewared for doing it the more manual way.
This dlc is going to be a pain, ai workers aren’t able to swap ends of the field and therefore constantly running over the crop while your carting or harvesting and carting all by yourself

I think the price of the carrots you showed is per tonne , 1000 litres of carrots is about 540kg not sure but most likely LOL

So? Workers do not destroy crops, even if you have crop destruction turned on. Never have.
