underoath changed my perspective when i was 14, now that im 28 this release has brought me back alot of what theyre only chasing safety made me feel. its nostalgic and the song in itself is catchy and beautiful. i'm happy they made let go
@SOLEMN for me its the opposite. i was feeling dull inside but clung to my faith, my family did and alot of my friends did. i even went out on two mission trips and tried hard to be honest with god, feel like myself with him. i never received anything that i could use for myself. i got lots of prophetic messages and pictures but i couldn't do anything with them except for feeling honored in those moments. in hindsight i doubt the validity of them because i felt some people who gave them to me were trying hard to belong as well. but i can't know for sure. i departed from my faith when i was twenty something and that made me feel less unauthentic. i don't think i will believe in him again. but its kinda nice and bittersweet that you chose the opposite and commented!
@@travist7148 id love to. ive been playing drums for 15 years now and aaron was my idol. i could fulfill young me a dream come true if id get to see him play live. also spencers and aarons voices are such a perfect match, id love to see them perform. someone commented somewhere else that uo has such good showmanship. if they ever come to germany and tickets would be affordable i will!

I’ve listened to this song so many times. There’s a lot of subtle sounds that make this song worthy of replaying a lot. One of my favorite underoath songs and I’ve been listening for a long time.
Underoath will always be my go to and have a special place in my heart. It's like I'm living life and they're writing the lyrics to it along the way. You guys have gotten me through so many dark times and I can't say I'd still be here if it wasn't for your music. I mean that. Much love from a random dude in Wisconsin 🤘
They’re going back to their strengths with this one, love the layers on layers of sound especially in 2nd half. The subtle background humming is the perfect touch.
This song goes hard as fuck. It was truly a memorable experience when they performed at the show I saw in Pittsburgh recently. Every song at that concert went hard as hell and the band truly put on a badass show!
hell yeah, I traveled to Wichita to see them and it was also a really badass show. Never thought I'd get to see them live, it was a beautiful experience. Cheers!
I'm almost 32 and they've been my favorite band since I was 14. I saw them live once and I will never forget how great it was! This is the Underoath I remember. This is absolutely amazing!
Saw these guys live for the first time on their current tour. I’ve seen 100s bands live can easily say they are one of the best. Spencer vice is still amazing.
Been listening since first album. Think this is a nice medium between the album they blew up on being more catchy and their follow up albums. Kind of right in the middle of being totally underoath and uniquely hard but still catchy for radio.
Los escucho desde el 2006, y la primera canción que escuché de ustedes fue "Writing on the Walls". El tiempo pasó en un abrir y cerrar de ojos, pero aquí estamos, espero verlos en vivo algún día.
What i love about the song is that the chorus is very catchy and makes me dance to the beat. Ive always loved whenever bands have that style in their choruses.
Thanks Underoath for everything you guys have done in this genre! You guys were the first metalcore/post-hardcore band i listened to and that got me into loving this genre of music 18 years ago! So from my side i just want to say thanks for the years of effort and amazing content/music you guys have delivered! Was even privileged to have a selfie with Spencer in South Africa when you guys performed at RamFest and Aaron still hands down my favorite drummer of all time! TX Legends!
The band that started my love for emo music and now as a grown ass adult to still be able to Rock out to them like it's high school all over again is so amazing. It killed me when they broke up and to have them come back stronger then ever is a blessing from the emo gods
You can literally hear the chemistry between the musicians as they write and play together…I love Underoath and their new shit has been fantastic, just like it has always been…
The aesthetic you're going for with this video suits you guys a lot, really could work for the next step after voyeurist Extraordinary song by the way, it has everything
Deberíamos hacer un grupo para lograr que vengan a Latinoamérica, yo soy de México y desde 2012 no se presentan aquí. Hay muchos fans que deseamos verlos por acá 🤙
I was 14 when I connected to underoath. With each album I felt they described my issues and or walked me through them. With damn excuses and this jam they're still guiding me mentally at 33. I can't thank you guys enough
Y'all should have been here when it premiered. It was awesome talking to the guys while we watched this gem unfold. So glad to have them back on the scene!
Fuck yeah I've been listening to them since I was 12 I'm 33 now. I first saw them live with Taking Back Sunday in Wilkes Barre PA. Been a huge fan love their music can't wait to see them in Reading PA
They never age and only develop more and more. Nice job dialing in the classic Underoath. Exactly what I needed with the modern generic metal core bands all over.
I been listening to underoath from the age of 14 and I’m 30 now, and this song brought me a lot of nostalgia, I hope to hear more of this sound, I don’t want them to be the next falloutboy, I want underoath, to be underoath, same roots but evolve the sound every time, I’m sure I’m not the only fan that feels this way, I enjoyed this song very much well done 🔥
that squier baritone jazzmaster makes yet another appearance. Damn y'all I thought prices might finally come down on those guitars and y'all make them cool yet again.
SO good to hear more of Aaron again. Spencer is legit my favorite ever but I love Aaron’s voice too!
Spencer sucks at singing. They suffer because his ego can't let the better singer take the cleans.
will always have a special place for underoath
Same
As a hip-hop head driving into new music this is so hard I'm glad I found it

2:01 hits like the breakdown in Numb and I love it. A perfect formula they have figured out over the years. Underoath continues to evolve.

The opening verse of this song reminds me of Glassjaw and I love it. The echo of the guitar and the vocals. So good!

Still gives me chills 15 years later when i discover that amazing band ❤
You guys are consistently crushing it! I love the way that every frame of this video looks like an old photocopied DIY hardcore poster.

THE BOYS ARE CRUSHING IT! Also, great to see James in the video
Love me some Jimmy ❤
Happy to see him too! I noticed James wasn’t on stage at the Denver show last week ☹️
So cool to see you guys in this thread. Best band out of the PNW ever!

You can literally hear the chemistry between the musicians as they write and play together…I love Underoath and their new shit has been fantastic, just like it has always been…
only Spencer, Aaron, Chris and Tim write the music. The other two don’t. They just play the parts live.
Back when they all lived in Tampa, I used to play football on the weekends with them at church. Such dope people!
I love this!!
this is sensational.
The CALLBACK on THIS!!!! 😭🤟🏽🔥
