Dearest Dave, thank you so much for these videos! They bring me so much joy!!! As a manic depressive that is quite a feat!!! Bless you and Mrs Polloi both!
I've just got b.a baracus figure today and I've took your advice on previous videos. And I've used gold Sharpe pen and the gold on the figure looks good now. B.a baracus was the figure I had when I was a kid
The great thing about being able to easily pull the heads off, is that you can swap 'em and 'disguise' Hannibal as any other member of The A-Team. Quite why he'd want to do that in the show is another matter. :)
Fun fact Murdock is the voice of a master chef with a great moustache. His apprentice always listens to his gut, sadly most of the advice it gives is "Cake!"
Had these as a kid...many happy memories. One in particular was a massive battle between the A-Team and my masters of the universe. In a particular tense moment, Stratos picked up Face Man....like an eagle with its prey. Somehow Face man managed to knock out Stratos mid air....Stratos fell and landed on the back V part of my cricket bat and Stratos lost his head. The casing completely snapped off. Stratos was never the same again.
I had two of those figures. I had Hannibal and B.A. While Face was my favorite character, the sculpt of Face's face (ironically) turned me off. I had such distinct memories of Templeton Peck from both the A-Team and Battlestar Galactica that I could not get past the terrible sculpt. I stopped after the first 2 figures because they were out of scale with the bulk of the rest of my action figures (I never saw the 3 and 3/4 inch figures in stores near me). Despite their flaws, I still have strong nostalgic feelings towards them. Thanks for the reviews.
Did a little research on this line. There is an Amy Allen figure (which looks very 80's momish) for this line as well as a selection of bad guys such as Python whose character description on the back of the card is, "Big and Angry." The text goes on, "His muscles push aside anything that gets in his way. B.A. Baracus is the only man who could ever put him down." Other villains include more snake inspired names: Rattler, Viper and (the commander?) Cobra.
I'm trying to find a complete Murdock or near complete. I too had him as a kid but his foot suffered a broken foot and a worn head. Any help would be appreciated. Keep up your great vids.
To bad the they didn’t make an alter ego pack for Murdoch with like his captain cab mask and sock puppet, and his captain copter hat, and a cab for him to drive .
My brother had these, he also had A-Team figures in 3,3/4 scale too so they could sit in vehicles. He had the van and a black and red F-!6. They were rubbish, action force were miles better.
I totally agree with what you say in this review and also about Galoob; they made totally average toys, and other than the Star Trek: TOS shuttle, which is funky-cool, I really don't much care for anything they created. Regarding the A-Team figures, I was always set back by the diaper-style crotch areas. I think they really deformed this figures. I wish some other manufacturer had licensed this toyline. It would still have been quite hard to create more than a handful of "evil" characters, as other than the main stars, most were quite uninteresting goons (so to speak, and in terms of "toyification") that appeared very briefly in one or another episode. But I feel they could have definitely treated this super successful series with much better care. Still, as kids, we played with what we were given...
+Timothy Ward sadly I don't. But I did find a very cool items at my parents house recently. You will get to see it when I reach 10000 subs. So pretty soon!
Was obsessed with A team and the toys. Slowly rebuilding my childhood collection.

Glad I can help :D
I have all 5 of these MOC, with the Face pack signed by Dirk Benedict. Used to love them as a kid - managed to get all 5 for cheap on eBay in 2001!
Loved these figures when I was younger. I also had the smaller scale figures and vehicles which were great fun
"I want trash bags" Great figures i have them all!! Even the ones with different colour jackets...
My favorite of the line as well!

That was a great find, have not seen one of those in a while.

I liked Murdoch because he was crazy.
His voice acting career is just as nuts, a blue guy who makes food and a mutant geneticist who spliced his genes with apes a lot.
Floppy Face cracked me up
Oh cool I have all of them

+Daniel Luque I would have liked a Colonel Decker.
Indeed! That is one of the few characters that would have made total sense. ^___^
Very nice video. To be honest I think these are awful figures, but I would have loved them as a child. Sadly they were not sold here in Italy.
have you tried out your electro plating kit on anything yet??
I have. Video to come on my testing next week.
Do you still have your "Ghostbusters jacket" for Murdock?

Toy Polloi I look forward to seeing what you've found.
I had them all...Hated them. They looked nothing like the characters and their tiny hands looked odd.
I'm the first one
what's up
These have to be the worst sculps ever.
What a discredit to a great show.
They should have been fit into the GI Joe line as a four pack special set.
