This OLED screen could be used for other features would it work
If I play on TV like 80% of the time, do you guys think the OLED is still worth getting or nah?
It seems that it is and the screen is way better 😮 this could be used for other features
What color settings are used here on oled? Vivid or standard mode?
he’s using vivid. sorry for the yr late answer.
I want to have a Nintendo switch
Can't buy
You guys are grateful to have Nintendo switch
I’m thinking about getting a switch lite, does anyone know if there is still bad joy con drift?
My son has had a switch lite for about 2 years now and hasn't had an issue. He's 6 years old too so it definitely takes a beating. Honestly though if you can find a switch oled that would be so much better for hand held playing than the lite would be.
Is it anything different if you play on TV?
Nope
i like the old switch if your going to buy a switch you should buy the new one but if you have the old switch you should not buy the oled because its only 3 updates the doc and the colors and the bigger screen thats it because why would spend 50 dollars more just for 3 updates
For some reason, BotW looks a little strange on the OLED screen compared to the LCD screen, but that might just be because I'm more used to playing it on an LCD screen. The other two games look absolutely fabulous on the OLED display, especially Link's Awakening.
the intro music I was jamming lol
So BOTW wasn't that washed out after all. It was the screen
Honestly unless you are comparing side by side like this vid you are not going to notice a huge difference or be missing out on something. I switch from my led switch to my oled tv all the time and it looks fine on both. Yes oled tech is better but if you already own a switch there really is zero reason to upgrade just for oled.
You're not going to be able to tell what makes OLED good from a video taken on a phone camera. Not sure that I would get an OLED switch, but I do have an OLED tv and it's really only something you can experience in person.
there is still room on the OLED to make the screen bigger
Is there also a difference in the television
No, there is no difference, they both look exactly the same on TV.
I would get the OLED if I handheld gamed a lot, but honestly it's docked 90% of the time. the only time I do handheld is if GF wants to watch something and I don't like what she's watching.
Can you make comparison between switch oled and switch lite
Is strange in some angkes the original switch look woth better colors look at ninute 3:56
I disagree, it looks extremely washed out.
Missed opportunity to not have a 1080p display. It’s not worth the upgrade, but it’s worth it if you don’t have a Switch.
This doesn't do it justice, the OLED model is way better. Bigger screen too. I constantly take mine out at work (videogame related) and compare it to the switches we have setup and the old one just looks like shit imo. It's so washed out, not as bright, less colorful, etc.
Bro Zelda music in the background would have been so much better!
Now try docked, side by side...
This is big difference look at those colors
Burn in is a real problem but screen size and contrast are for every respect as graphic designer can say. What when vivid colors in software options on Switch oled is turned of?!? It should be nice to we get that vivid colors option on every Switch but again size does meters but burn in ghost on screen after 1 - 1,5 year meters too really hard really, current experience on oled is really beautiful
Fun fact the psvita had an oled screen on release
Eyy i rlly want to see the difference between OLED screen and the normal switch
The new screen really is a treat for the eyes 😍 however, if you already own the standard kind then it might not be so worth it, money wise that is.
@@Tochinden it's worth it if you play mostly handheld - I sold my og switch to some desperate Nintendo nerd for $275 and upgraded. It's very easy to upgrade haha
@@heedlessed7952 what do you mean desperate Nintendo nerd?
I was able to turn in my day one release switch at game stop for 200 bucks, as well as a few games for 20$ each that I don't play. I ended up walking out of the store with a new oled switch for 70$
i think breath of the wild looks sometimes better on the og one but i think thats only because of the camera.
Bonito, mas não vale pagar 2 ou 3 vezes mais. De jeito nenhum. Continua os mesmos 720p.
What about green tint I’m debating whether to get one
Playstation and xbox need to follow I love to take my games on the go
Guess i'll just play on my TV then! Wait for a new hardware update then upgrade
Good video
