- In today's video I'm sharing all of my recent Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles vintage action figure pick-ups that I've added to my collection, from 1993 Universal Monsters to 1991 Sewer Sports, not to mention some classic mutants!
I've been collecting more and more vintage lines lately, but my love of action figures goes back to the original TMNT line, the first action figures I was introduced to as a kid in 1990. My childhood turtles were the starting point for my current collection, so I'm always excited for a bit of turtle talk!

Yes indeed, I've been neglecting the turtles a little of late so it was high time I give them some attention! I agree, had to lead with the Universal Monsters, I'm so stoked to have them!🐢
The gimmicky TMNT figs are my favorite, lol. I just love that Playmates was able to still be colorful and creative with obvious gimmicks. Like, a firefighter Turtle should be a "huh, what? why?" kind of idea but they make it work with attractive sculps, detail, and paint apps.
Very true, Playmates definitely did a great job of making those figures as interesting as possible with lots of fun little details, amazing colours and creative accessories!
That's not a Heineken! Awesome pickups, they brought back a lot of childhood memories. For some reason, Bebop and Rocksteady were really hard to find in Italy. But there was ALWAYS a ton of Ray Filet figures available. Good stuff!
Isn't that funny! I seem to recall lots of Rocksteadys but no Bebops in my toy aisles as a kid! Glad I could bring back some memories for you Steve 👍

Mate what an awesome epsidoe some great TMNT pickups there and really cool to find out they did different colours for the TMNT universal monsters I’ve also got a mummy Raph with organge weapons and a frankestine mikey with blue weapons, again mate Thankyou for the shoutout and congratulations 🎉again on 1k subs 😎🤘🏻
Thanks Ryan! Yeah it's really interesting to see all of the different colour accessories on the Universal Monsters. I wouldn't mind having each figure with different colour accessories as long as all of the accessories for each individual figure are the same, if that makes sense! Thanks Phil! I know mate, I find myself drawn to so many cool toy lines of the 80s and 90s, but for display appeal (not to mention nostalgia) I always come back to TMNT! Oh nice, he's a super cool figure!

Appreciate it Landon! The Movie Stars are awesome man, so much cool detail in them and the accessories are really unique. For sure, the giants are mad as well, I've never really seen them down here though.

personal favourites were the movie star turtles then the storage shell set. Something about the storage shell turtles felt like they were more cartoon accurate to me
Yeah the storage shell turtles are awesome, they have my favourite head sculpts for sure, and the movie star turtles are awesome, I definitely want to complete that set.
