Next, we hop on our scooty and head to Old Goa, where we explore the magnificent churches and historical landmarks that tell the story of Goa's colonial past. The architectural beauty and serene atmosphere are truly captivating. Our journey then takes us to the picturesque Divar Island. Riding through the lush landscapes and quaint villages on a scooty was such a liberating experience. The island's charm is like a step back in time.
One of the highlights of this episode is our visit to an ultimate Gai Kaju (cashew) factory. Here, we learn all about the process of cashew production, from harvesting to packaging. It was fascinating to see how these delicious nuts make their way to our tables.
To wrap up our trip, we visit the Museum of Goa, where we dive deep into the state's rich history and vibrant art scene. The exhibits are both informative and inspiring, offering a comprehensive look at Goa's cultural heritage.
