  • Me and a couple of the guys from the local club took a trip out to Sage Hen Reservoir for the day. Got some amazing views and great conversation. Awesome to have such a diverse group of bikes riding together!

Thank you! Appreciate the feedback. Trying to get out riding more, but this season has been crazy as I started my own company early this year. Hopefully get in a few good trips before winter 😎👊🏻

Cool video. I used to have a DRZ 400. I'm thinking about getting another one. That's my son Jeff on his new Honda 450. His first bike was a Christmas gift, Kawasaki KX80. His sister got an RM80 the same day. Keep up the videos. I just subscribed 👍

I sure love the DRZ, and completely unintentionally. Came upon a deal too good to pass up and it’s one of the best grabs I’ve ever made. They’re so simple, capable and fun. Jeff is a great guy and it’s awesome getting to connect with guys like him in the riding community out here. You’ll have to join us someday!

Another bike you should pay some serious attention too is the new Suzuki V-Strom 800DE. Its got the suspension and comfort the T7 lacks but still every bit as off-road capable. Anyway, I'm not getting a new ADV for a while(had to buy a road bike this season). But I am interested in possibly adding a DRz for exploring and getting started in ADV. My concern is doing road miles on a small bike getting to and from ADV areas. Seems like your doing great on the road with the bike... Great video 👍

You know what, it’s funny you say that. I was in a local dealer and got to see one when they first arrived. Suzuki really did a great job on the new model, and has some noteworthy upgrades. I was really impressed with it. It definitely peaked my interest as an adventure bike. The DRZ (or DR) is the best it gets in terms of a dirtbike that can do long miles. It’s not comfortable by any means, but it is definitely doable. The fact it is so simple and reliable makes it a pleasure to own - the performance isn’t breathtaking, but it’s plenty to make you smile and enjoy the ride. Thanks for watching and sharing your input! 👍🏻

@@IdahoDualSport208 ... I unexpectedly had to buy another touring bike this season(along with one other big change) so buying a new ADV is not happening. If I could I'd buy a new ADV, hands down it would be the 800DE.
I can swing a used DRz, I'm trying to determine if its worth getting onr to ride a few seasons or keep my money and get the V-Strom 800DE when I'm ready. (Who knows.. maybe I'll like the DRz so much I won't want a bigger bike.)

@@painsrides3616depending on your skill level, and wants, both are great options. The new v strom is absolutely loaded and caught my eye for how much bike you get for the money. The DRZ is just time tested and proven. It does so many things well, and nothing great. It’s a lot of fun and a bike most guys can afford to keep in the garage long term.

This is a cool route man, I live in the same area and would love to know where this is? Looks like maybe northeast of Emmet along the river for some? I've yet to actually ride up there yet so I'm not sure but I'm always looking for new roads in the valley.
