I got the Tournesol on the PS2 versions, but honestly... it's not worth doing through all of this work for a few 10 or 11 extra attack points. It is powerful but the Excalibur is a decent compromise.
I stole a damascus steel from a rare game at the Cerobi Steppe, the monster looks very similar if not the same to Anchag, it is located in the section next to the blue crystal if you come from the port side. Also I remember in the ps2 original version of the game I used to steel a Gemsteel from Avenger at the Pharos at Ridorana but in this version he gave a katana... And it also seem like you can´t get a Serpentarius by steeling it from Zodiark wich sucks
Scott Ledbetter after stealing one just go two areas away and go back and steal again as long as you don't kill it you can get as many as you need this way

I just tried it, I stole a Tournesol from Gabranth, I cleared the stage, reloaded the save file but the Tournesol I stole wasn't carried over. Not much of a big deal about Tournesol given only one of my characters has the licence to use it but I was planning to farm Genji Gloves D:

ouch that sucks, well if you get that Canopic Jar all Rare Game monster will have a 5% chance of dropping one just got to find one that is easy to respawn, Anchag is easy and having x2/x4 speed will help speed up the process
I'm confused, so can I steal it from the Judges or not (Genji Glove too)? I adked somewhere else and people said that the game doesn't save your progresses after stage 100 just after stage 99 so stealing stuff from the judges is useless. Is that true or not? Someone tried? Also which one of the judges has Genji Glove?
I've played and completed this game back in 2006 and now im playing HD remake on PS5. I'll say it this game needs a badass remake on PS5. Like my comment if anyone agrees!

I think masamune + genji gloves is decent compromise
You could have used the same High Arcana to make both Empyreal Soul and the Serpentarius

Got mine last night. I prefer to create High Arcanas by stealing from Ishteen for Souls of Thamasa and stealing the Damascus Steel from Bluesang.

Bluesang. I found him easy enough to just steal what I needed from him repeatedly before I decided to kill him for the trophy.
For the boss adrammelech i got high arcana 1st try super lucky 1hr later ... Still havent got another high arcana but a ton of pebbles :/

Can you only get the tournesol once besides trial mode 100
Cause I got the items to make the tournesol twice but when I sold the required items the second time nothing happened

you can steal the items but only equip them within the fight itself.
