Interview des membres du groupe de grunge américain NIRVANA, composé du chanteur et guitariste Kurt COBAIN, du bassiste Krist NOVOSELIC, et du batteur Dave GROHL, dans une chambre d'hôtel. Ils sont actuellement en tournée et de passage au Royaume Uni pour leur deuxième album "Nevermind".Kurt COBAIN a l'air de "planer", il s'allonge près d'un lit durant l'interview, mais répond tout de même aux questions, parfois avec une pointe d'ironie.Ils répondent à des questions sur leur tournée en Europe, leur nouvel album "Nevermind", l'évolution de leur musique depuis l'album "Bleach", leur conception de la musique dite "commerciale", de la musique pop (qu'ils qualifient de musique pour enfants), et du punk rock.

I'm telling ya, they need to make a more upbeat movie about Kurt and nirvana. These guys were FUNNY !!! every interview Kris is saying some off the wall pointless stupid shit just to throw off the interviewer. I think people would appreciate the lighter side of this band and celebrate its rise to stardum having fun doing so. Cause that's what these guys did!! They clowned their way to the top!!
I wonder, actually I bet Krist felt betrayed when Kurt died because he was kinda left holding the bag it always seemed like they had a us against them attitude they seemed so close idk just wondering out loud (in written format) I guess
I don't know about feeling betrayed. But their chemistry was high as fuck. I'm kind of jealous actually, I wish I had a buddy with such a high humour compatibility like they had.

one of my favorite interviews. some thoughts are that pop music is a weasel. krist says the right adjectives to be just cynical enough but honest. makes good humour that way.(diapers and styrofoam had me laughing the most. ) Dave is really a great drummer but in interviews man... i have to hate him. Maybe its his typical responses i dont know. Kurt is quiet which means he is smart. some quiet people are not smart. I understand where hes torn too.. that place. or longing. If you notice he talks about rock music passionately a bit into the interview and everyone kind of shuts up. They have heard him talk like this before. That sound can only be found from good hearted honest passionate talk. there is no way you would see people shut up if kurt tried talking about cars or trucks this way. that is because you can tell kurt was meant for music and the arts. But the entire interview is golden. It really helps surround the land of where nirvana comes from.
if you have ever had a passion and DO NOT fall into the politics of said passion, kurt comes off as common sense. So when reading youtube comments I can almost always tell that most of the people on here do not have a passion for music.. or most likely a real passion for anything, so they fight. My passion is the visual arts.
odiumimbues Completely agree with this. I am so glad someone talks about Kurt like this...he was such a kind and passionate man, I agree! I feel like people who talk like this about Kurt are put under the category of like "worshipping" him or some weird shit but thats not it at all. I REALLY don't see it that way. Its just stating the truth. He WAS just a really sincere, nice, talented, real, and passionate guy and I think it scares people because people in the public eye so often are not any of those things, so they have to knock him down because "oh well he couldn't have been THAT nice" and its like uhh yeah so what...he was? Why is that such a problem? Anyway, yeah, its obvious you're a really nice guy and I agree with you. Sorry for the rambling, I just had to state that opinion and view as well. You're super nice.

Princess Melinoe I actually become soaked in sadness to think that nobody has had a passion so great that it detours them from a purely simple sexual life. Or maybe I'm the sour grape who isn't normal and replace that emptiness with a passion. Either way I relate to Kurt and understand most everyone. But I have hate too. I'm sure you have something going on along those lines to have appreciated my comment

I watch Nirvana interviews because it's the closest thing I'll get to meet them. it sucks I was born in 1998. I would have loved to grow up during the 80's and 90's

I think at that time they were influenced by New Kids on The Block in the way they try to be sweet, collected and fun in the interviews.

Too bad Nirvana never came to Malaysia. At 5:21 minute Kurt said they went to Southeast Asia which is true but unfortunately they only went to Singapore. They did not perform a show due to Singaporean Government's refusal giving a permit since Kurt's a drug user. Before the Petronas Twin Towers were built the world at that time did not know where is Malaysia during the 90s.

I think Kurt's heroin use was pretty obvious in this interview.
Huh, I don't get it. He's obviously very aware of what he's saying. I think he just didn't have allot of energy outside playing shows and was somewhat in a dream world, but he really doesn't seem under any kind of influence.
This isn't necessarily just you, but it kind of bugs me because in literally every interview with Cobain, there's that one guy that automatically says that he's on drugs. I mean I'm sure there is AT LEAST ONE interview when he's high but he seems totally straight here. Just slightly drowsy. No offense or anything of course
