For the DM 30th anniv. tour, Bonehead's solid rhythm playing is gonna take Liam's band to the next level, d'ya know what I mean? And to hear his perspective on interviewers' questions is great. It's nice he and Liam have remained friends and kept in touch this whole time.
But bro the framework in people's heads are fucked forever... think of it. If you banned phones at concerts then ok that's cool. It's better than not! But people's full 100% feelings and emotions will still not be in the moment! Their heads and minds will still to some degree be on their damn phones... they'll be worried about what messages they've missed. They'll be thinking about how great it could've been had they been able to upload some pics and vids from the show for everyone to see and be jealous etc... so it literally will neeeeeeeeever be the same man. Smart phones and internet have some really good things about them, but they've fucked us BIG in this regard! BIG!!!

What some people tend to overlook is how he cracks it to 11 every time he's playing on stage. Absolute monster of a tone. Other guitarists Liam play's with recently don't seem to to crank up the distortion and volume on their amps. In comes Bonehead, and the same song sounds MASSIVE.

They recorded alot of songs above a certain sustain and threshold and he had chops live. What rhythm guitarist is gonna be known as a shredder on the ol 6 string?
I like the fact that all the original band members are still good mates. Apart from Noel. Even Tony still gets on with the rest of the original band, apart from Noel. That’s brilliant.

Met him on a bus from the plane to the terminal in Manchester from Frankfurt. Gave his seat to my mum. Met Noel outside my hometown teams stadium when City came. He left 10 days later. 1st match of the season. Do you think they both spoke to each other about me and Noel left cos Bonehead slagged me off? In my world that’s what happened.
I was lucky enough to get to gigs in the late 90s/early 2000s before the advent of smartphones. I feel privileged to have experienced gigs. Actually experienced them. It’s something the younger generation have tragically missed. I pity them.
Plenty of middle aged concert goers too. The whole scene is insta driven, social media, shite. Who sits down and watches the video of an hour long performance recorded on a mobile, with shit sound and visual anyway? Anyone?
Those oasis gigs back in the day pure atmosphere. Even in the queues or when we slept on the streets for tickets. Pure party atmosphere. Best band in the world with the best fans - that needs to be said met some amazing people back then

There were some hieroglyphics interpreted once that said “the youth of today are no good” and that’s how it’s always been. You live your generation and it’s the best ever and for me the 90s definitely was especially with oasis being around. Things change and new generations create new styles and one day someone will be saying similar things to Liam and bonehead here. If things didn’t evolve then oasis wouldn’t have made the songs they did. “Standing on the shoulders of giants” is a statement and one day a new musical movement will emerge and that generation will hopefully have as much fun as I did in the 90s. That being said there will never be annuity like it was in the 90s before technology took it away.

However everything is temporary in this world and I can only hope the pendulum swings eventually and the youth have a revolution. It only takes a special few to create a new influence and the inspiration will return. Probably not in my lifetime but I am grateful to have been born when I was and experience real characters and real music. New technology has definitely played a massive part in making the youth’s weak and inculpable for their actions and themselves.

Saw Oasis 4 times and they’re right. Rock concerts used to be a lot better when people were in the moment, everybody vibrating in the same frequency
