As someone who's allergic to milk, I know for a fact that raw food burritos are unsatisfying. If you don't have something that's high in fiber like hummus or high in fat like oil-based dressing drenching it, you'll be hungry in an hour. Cheese is pivotal to making a satisfying burrito, wrap, whatever if you want it to be vehicle to get more veggies for more nutrients. If I'm going to a sandwich or wrap shop, I had to move to either chicken salad or tuna salad wraps because I need to avoid cheese, but I've never been a fan of the taste of meat, drowning it in mayo makes it palatable 😆 The protein in there is the only way to be satisfied.

Plants have no omega 3. Plants have Alpha Linoelenic Acid. It is a precursor to omega but not omega 3. ALA needs to be converted to EPA in order to be used by the human body. Then the EPA is converted to DHA to meet other needs. However, the interesting fact is that ALA's conversion rate is incredibly low. Around 5%. When the conversion factor is accounted for the alleged good omega 6 and omega 3 ratios of ALA sources is terrible. 2:1 becomes 40:1 when the conversion rate is accounted for. In reality, Omega 3 is EPA and DHA and the only way for a human being to get these in reliable quantities while not having terrible omega 6 to omega 3 ratios is to eat certain animal products like fatty fish such as salmon or cod, fish oil, grass fed dairy, etc. The vegan diet is high in omega 6 and practically absent in omega 3.
GOOD FOR THE PLANET AND GOOD FOR OUR HEALTH: THE EVIDENCE FOR WHOLE-FOOD PLANT-BASED DIETS (2021) - This review highlights that whole-food plant-based (WFPB) diets are effective in managing and preventing obesity, type 2 diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases. Participants adhering to a WFPB diet showed significant improvements in body mass index (BMI) and glycemic control, and experienced a reduced risk of cardiovascular mortality. The study emphasizes that healthy WFPB diets, as opposed to unhealthy plant-based diets with processed foods, are crucial for these benefits.

I will never go back eating that gross muck meat eaters call food i learned my lesson the hard way, and im glad o got my life back, you guys can hate all you want i guess it makes yall feel better or something good luck,🥒🥦🥬🥕 vegan for life 💪🏼
You're misinformed about cholesterol. A vegan diet is extremely nutrient-deficient. If you were having the problems that you claim to have had on an omnivorous diet, then you needed some professional assistance from someone like Bart Kay. Throwing around numbers like "gained 70 pounds", "lost 50 pounds" are meaningless if we don't know what your ideal weight is & the state of your body composition. If you lose weight, but it's mostly muscle that you're losing, that's very unhealthy. The fact that you praise Freelee's "leanness", shows that you don't have an accurate perception of what a healthy person should look like.
No one becomes obese eating eggs, minimally processed dairy, or meat. You don't sound like you are being completely honest about what your diet became. Obesity is as much an eating disorder as veganism is. Both are symptomatic of malnourishment.
PLANT-BASED DIETS AND CARDIOVASCULAR HEALTH: A REVIEW (2018) - This review, conducted by Satija and Hu, discusses the cardiovascular benefits of plant-based diets. It reports that replacing animal proteins with plant proteins can lead to positive changes in BMI, reduced inflammation, and lower risks of cardiovascular diseases (CVD) by improving endothelial function and reducing blood pressure.
Read carefully.. These studies have the wrong Control Group (worst possible diet), and only study a relatively short time period. Anything based on food surveys is suspect. Notice it says nothing about atrophy, T2D, cancer, skinny-fat, anemia, ataxia, brain shrinkage, dementia etc Mixing a known good factor into the PB Group is a classic way of imbuing the PB attribute with positive effects. The design of these studies is carefully consided to show plants=good. Someone pays for them.

@@jenniferkubik478That's grim for PB diets..
Probably blood sugar issues.
7:10 that's not even a pumpkin, that's a butternut squash
We call it butternut pumpkin in Australia, it’s never called squash, squash here are small, round, pumpkin-shaped watery vegetables.
@@Jules2468 To add to that, what Australians call squash is something that basically tastes exactly the same as zucchini, but it has yellow skin.
@@lindymerry38 we also call that squash. Winter squash and summer squash

Squash sounds like an Native American word..
It is.. (to be eaten raw or uncooked).
Does that mean everything is squash to FL?
Flaxseed have the precursor Alpha-linolenic acid (ALA).
The conversion is low to epa and dha, and there's phytic acids.
Have you seen that cool guy with Parkinson's, Mark something? The shoulder stiffness does kinda remind me of that
She keeps calling humans frugivores. The funny thing is that frugivores aren’t necessarily vegan. Many of them eat animals. Eating animals is actually part of the definition of a frugivore.
She does not have ataxia. But she does seem to have muscle loss and is struggling to lift things because of it.
Fruigivores are also meat eating animals or insectivore animals… like birds, monkeys and even manned wolves from South America
I’d say it’s muscular atrophy not ataxia they’re different
Maybe both?
This old chicken would like me to believe that all those appliances are powered by solar or photovoltaic panels? off-grid? FFS
Flax seeds are gross to eat ewww, I couldnt even swallow it.
Flax seed oil (AKA linseed oil) was traditionally used as a wood finish. You can rub it onto your wooden baseball or cricket bat. Yeah, I couldn't imagine eating the seeds either. They are not food.
that's not hunger she always has a loss of muscle control
Would rice help? Does she eat rice at all? I’m assuming no, since you have to cook it.she’s eating starvation rations, I think.😢
Shes eating rice and bread bow and she does look healthier then she has for the oast 17 yrs
You don't know what healthy looks like.
Are you saying that her previous diets that she’s pushed and promoted and profited from were wrong and that her current diet is the right one?
In which month/time period did she flip from looking ill to looking amazing exactly?

If i didn't become vegan again i don't know what would happen to me, awhile ago i made the biggest mistake of my i started consuming animal derived products especially dairy, i began gaining so much weight, over 70 pounds i became extremely obese, blood pressure through the roof, started walking with a cane,i was in trouble, i couldn't get my health right no matter what, then it dawned on me, i remember how i felt as a vegan, slimmer, riding my bike no high blood pressure no cholesterol, complete mobility, no excruciating pain the entire night, i would stay up crying because of the pain in my body, the heart palpitations i couldn't handle it anymore and i was scared i went back to vegan and have lost 50 pounds in 5 months, have regained all my mobility, my blood pressure is back down, cholesterol, i look and feel amazing, i have cheekbones again 😅i dont know why i ever left the lifestyle, im lucky to be alive right now my doctor was absolutely stunned when seeing me she was like omg you look amazing!!!!
Entertaining fairytale
Yes, of course, let's get you back to the ED ward.
Maybe you were just allergic to dairy or something.
Notice it says nothing about atrophy, T2D, cancer, skinny-fat, anemia, ataxia, brain shrinkage, dementia etc
Mixing a known good factor into the PB Group is a classic way of imbuing the PB attribute with positive effects.
The design of these studies is carefully consided to show plants=good. Someone pays for them.
Until you can find a multi generational study you are wasting your time.
