From DEKA: "For ccip/ccrp, the interval means distance in feet, so interval 200 means the impact on ground will be 200 feet separated between each. When you choose manual mode, then interval is for time between each two release the distance is more useful when you know the targets are placed uniformly along your attack course."
Omg! when I think I've got the hang of it, then Grim Reapers shows up and put me in place so I have to learn it all from the start again. Thanks again "Grimmy" ;)

The JF17, the F-5/F20 of the 21 century. I do however have a general question, how accurate is the modelling in terms of performance? How is this vetted and measured for accuracy? How much of the startling performance more a function of the developer's bias?
Well as its an export fighter, I imagine most of the data is pretty readily available. As for Developer bias, I cant say DCS is a game where I've ever thought to myself developer bias is even a thing.
Screamingtilltheend No worry about the accuracy, Deka gets their data straight from Chengdu. BTW Wei Yang, the head designer of the real JF17 has also checked this module.
@@grimreapers I appreciate your perspective, By nature, I do not take everything at face value and will watch with one eye on your excellent channel, and my other eye on the Janes Defense updates :)
@@albertxxx8386 The development of JF-17 for DCS probably got more support from the original aircraft manufacture/weaponry manufacture/actual flying units than any other models in DCS. The manufacture wanted the promotional effects for Chinese aircraft/weapons yet don't want to release much details on latest domestically used types, so as an export only type the JF-17 became the perfect option. On the other hand, for domestically equipped types, the much older J-11A is as far as it will go with detailed flyable model for a long time, there will be more Chinese types added, but will be AI only and not as detailed and accurate. And even the J-11A is still considered a bit sensitive, so the help for development from the manufacture/flying unit was nowhere near the incredible amount of support for the JF-17. Speaking of Wei Yang, another interesting fact is that he's also the chief designer of the J-20 stealth jet and a number of other projects, so with his blessing on the release of the JF-17 model for DCS, it's pretty safe to say the modeling is accurate enough. At the end of the day, there will always be people NOT happy to see a REDFOR aircraft performing so well, not to mention a Chinese jet which instantly triggers a certain group of people who can't help going political or even racism for even just a simulator. Regardless how they will try to bash "this is a copy of stolen tech" "it can't be this good in real life" "commie propaganda", eventually they'll get used to being shot down by the SD-10. If there ever is a problem, it's not the JF-17 or the SD-10 that needs to be nerfed, it's the F-16 or AIM-120C that needs to be slightly buffed.
Wondeful video, as always! I've followed you for a while, and now I've decided to purchase VR headset and join the game! Questions for all here: I really want to fly the F-14, would you recommend that for a beginner (only beginner to DCS, I've flown other sims, and also a bit RL)? Anything you would recommend? And would Oculus Rift S be a good VR set?
Great video! Somehow it is not working for me, though. So, the AUTO/CCRP part. I select the M84, Mode is AUTO, Fuze is NOSE, target diamond is set. In the HUD, the weapon appears as RDY and mode AG AUTO. I also see the bomb line and hear the beep sound, but I press the Weapon Release button, nothing happens (also tried it with a WMD7 pod with the same result). For CCIP it works. diamond in target, weapon release, BOOM. Can someone please help me out here? Thanks!
@@grimreapers Hey there, thanks for your answer! Yes, I tried that, didn't work. I tried many things, somehow it worked suddenly. I think that I flew too fast. When flying under 300 the bombs fell. Take care!

PAK-CHI aircraft with US payload?
"Just be sensible", heh, not my strong suit when it comes to bombing things.

Can't wait for dtos and vip. Also would be cool to see RBM and FTT
What is the key for dropping bombs (on keyboard and mouse)?

Is it just me or is it easyer to dop bombs in the JF vs the F16

Yup thats the recommended VR set
Get some!
Quality stuff.
My bombs never seem to drop, did everything you did, hold weapons release and just nothing ever happens, approach is around 300 and no joy
Tried on CCIP and still nothing happens, I got one bomb to drop on another mission I was practicing and it's just not working now
Master arm?
