I'm amazed how underrated is this module. I was looking forward yo buy the F-18, but after watching your vids, the JF-17 is in second place after my lovely F-1
The reason it is underrated is because when it was released it was OP as all hell (the long range missiles had something like 6x the range of AIM-120C's for example), and because of this and things like it people aren't sure how "realistic" it is and how much it is just a whacky propaganda piece. Of course, no real way to tell if any of the other modules are realistic either, but when one is on an entirely different plain of existence to the rest it seems pretty dodgy.
@@jimmydesouza4375 the SD-10 outraged the AMRAAM because the AMRAAM was still heavily nerfed by ED, the SD-10 has always been within ~3% of CFD models. So it's not the JF-17 that was 'bad', it was the base game that was unrealistic. Nick grey even said that the missiles we made worse to force a merge more often. Now ED has taken over all 3rd party weapons, so they won't get embarrassed by someone modelling a realistic missile again.
@@FOOGLEMAN I wasn't intending to imply the JF was unrealistic, just that since it was different from every other module (except maybe the gazelle) it made people suspicious. That was the main complaint I saw about this module. That being said, I am kind of amazed that Ed didn't balance all 3rd party modules themselves. It seems like such an obvious "right choice".
In the JF17 the LGBs should be your go to weapon if the target isn’t known. Search for targets with your AG radar (don’t forget you can IFF ground targets,) track it with your TGP, then roll in with your LGBs. If the target is moving fast pick a spot in front of it and pickle then continue to track the target and lase. Do not lase until 10 seconds till impact or you will likely miss the target if it’s moving.
I have to turn off the laser after dropping each bomb because laser work with me in the first bomb then i try with the second and third bomb but laser never turned on when i pressed the laser designate button

i have bug with focus , re focus infinit
recently I discover a BUG with this mod, the laser designator is not working properly, sometimes is fine but after a while stop working

I have had laser guided rockets not working sometimes, this might be it.
