That's not the ICBM, the ICBM is a variation of the Tennison gambit and it involves forcing the king away from his home square with checks so that when you launch the queen it DOESN'T get taken immediately, otherwise it's just a queen trade
Until some time ago, content creators bots just played random openings. Now they changed them to opening which the creators actually play, and gotham has a video on that so it's likely the bot plays that opening because of it
You obviously know more then me as I'm only 1750 in rapid but most gambits especially the englund or whatever it's called (could be nf6 then e5) but generally you should always accept with the intention of giving it back later (hopefully with better position lol) you amazingly got a very good position out of the opening for a gambit
I don't think this dumb trick has a name, it's one of Eric Rosens traps, I always think of it as the Englund Rosen. It's really bad and I think it's so funny that they programmed it into Levy's bot. I don't know if he plays this at all.
I don't like the eval bar. Part of the entertainment of the video is the suspense about whether or not your judgements about the game are correct in the short and long term. The eval bar makes things too straight-forward
Adding onto this, I'd like to see a variant where a random piece is the king, but your opponent doesn't know which piece, and it's a different piece for them. People would either have to try to take everything until they stumble upon the "king", or they could watch their opponent's moves to see if they are being particularly careful with a specific piece.
Hey! If you see this i have another video idea. Try and beat gotham chess with only rooks! I don't know if you have already done this idea a while back. But it only makes sense if you use rooks against "THE ROOOOOK" man, that's what I'll call him.
intercontinental ballistic missile(ICBM)
boom
ICBM is with white the gambit in the game starts as the Englund but might not be it i don’t have it memorized

Neither of them have clothes
@@Rookiebookemw idea
Video suggestions: Winning against the GothamChess Bot but its the actual GothamChess in Person
If I could get that arranged that would be a dream come true

Yes that makes sense, and thank you hahaha
I meant I was surprised an engine let you get such a good position out of the opening while maintaining the pawn. Absolute nuts

Congrats! That’s pretty sick
good video 😎 (I'm watching the video right now)

nice game bishop takes is hard to see when we learn not to trade the bishop pair in open positions😂
I agree! And good analysis :)
How many pawns to beat Gotham chess
Great video I think you should be happy gothem is really strong and you can consitaly not lose
I agree! I would love to defeat him though 😏

Thanks for the feedback
you should try out the game really bad chess and try to get as high as you can in ranked mode, it would be a fun video I think
Never heard of this but I looked it up and it seems fun! Thanks!
play chess960 (video suggestion)
Good idea!
good video 😎 (i watched the whole video)
Thank you 😎
Are you able to see the eval bar while playing?
no, he adds it in post-production
@@stormninjabros025 thanks
you should really try to do custom variants, like “chess, but your king is a… rook, queen, bishop, knight, etc.”
Good idea! Would I find those on lichess?
@@iwantcheckmate you can try some fun ones on the website drawback chess

Bishop or knight?
Knight 💯
5:56 Bc4 work?
OH I KINDA SAW A THING
Haha Bc4 would lose a pawn since Gothams knight and bishop hit the c4 square
Day 6 of posting a comment to help with algorithm until this channel reaches where's it needs to be
