  • Our next entry in this series is focused on rubber elastomers. Elastomers in general are polymers that exhibit viscosity and elasticity as well as very weak intermolecular forces. They are also known to have a low stiffness and high failure strain when compared with other materials. Some of the most popular uses of rubber elastomers include applications as seals, adhesives, and molded parts requiring flexibility.

Not at 2 PM! God, he put me to sleep. He is a professor and does not show here that he knows a thing about information visualization or about presentation! Cripes! did you see how crowded his slides were!? He could have had one of the young ones make the presentation and it would have been so much better! My wife teaches here at a state college and this guy would be on her hit list of people who are so stuck in what they have always done that they have not taken the time to learn newer advances in presenting information. He is so focues on his area of excellence that he has failed to learn how to make that knowledge more accessible by understanding how people learn and how to DESIGN a presentation to achieve the desired learning objectives.
