One of the better tutorials on this I’ve found - thanks for the info, I’m going to barter and trade a small 20v Hart chainsaw for this tomorrow morning and also buying a mini tube screamer for $40 - finally building my arsenal of tools up again after having my entire pedalboard stolen from me a few years back.
always reviews that are right up my alley! for Fun, check out a boss RC-5 midi synced to a BeatBuddy drum pedal.....fantastic. You can have your loop fade out as the BeatBuddy does an outro .
Didn’t know about the Ditto. Nice one. Used to have the RC-1, but I never managed to get my head around it. Also I found the foot pedal too heavy to press with my hands. Thanks for this review and comparison!
Thank you - very good video as I'm looking to purchase my first looper and this is the only video so far that explains the button sequence so I found this really useful. question: at 7 mins 45 secs in, you say that it only stores one loop at a time which can't be right can it? I think probably I've misunderstood the context of this though if someone wouldn't mind explaining! and PS wondering if there's a similar video for the Boss?
hi and thanks. on the ditto you can only have one loop performance stored in memory, like a song. some boss loopers allow you to store and recall 100s of performances.
Yup that standard must be phased out, especially now that USB-C is more compact, more durable, and more powerful. No case can be made for the mini or even the micro USB.
These devices are SO cool - and you demonstrate them so well! Thanks, Woody!!

thanks for the feedback and thx for checking out the vid, best of luck with the new board
Great review. I have struggled with the use of the ditto for some time and never use it. Thank you.
Thanks for your effort 😊 Subscribed!
thanks for your generosity and support and sorry for the late response!
Thank you for all the looper demos. I am looking for one for my keyboard instruments. Have you tried the NUX Loop Core Stereo?
never even heard of it before, sorry!

Nice review Woody as always - any chance you can review the RC-505mk2? As a fellow synth enthusiast, would love to hear your thoughts on it.
thanks, yeah, not planning on buying a new one, but if i get the chance to buy used, might jump on one.
What good is looping with some sort of click track or drum pattern for timing ? You don’t show how to do that
mini usb... the worst invented. most prone to fail

The rc are junk ditto rules
