Just some simple wrestling is going to make it very difficult for you to complete that straight armbar takedown. My immediate thought in that position, is to get my left leg out and start trying to spin. You're going to have to reach to get to the right arm and since I'm constantly shifting and moving under you, as soon as you go for it, I'll be able to roll you off balance. You still have my arm but I'm working a transition off my stomach. Most people don't know to do that, but it's something to watch out for. The key is getting ahold of that right arm quickly. Even if I'm attempting to spin out, if you get my right arm, I'm done.

My biggest problem with most handcuff techniques is that you can’t control someone from one point of control on their wrist. You have to have more connection.
Also if you put two knees on a person they become your base and can manipulate your body weight. One knee is ok, but two knees can get your face put in the dirt.
I really liked this guys video. He puts the person being handcuffed at the disadvantage by putting them in awkward positions before initiating contact, but would be interested to see other people’s opinions on the best handcuffing techniques. Any links?

Thats a very good personal interpretation of Koga method. Has some flaws but at least some good points.

lol splay out the guy like a starfish and basically put him in a hold to do a cursory pat down. Talk about how to irritate a person into resisting that otherwise might not have

Yeah make sure you hurt that cooperating subject by wrist locking him. That's necessary force. WTF SNEAK ATTACK FROM A HANDSHAKE? Why would you sneak attack a subject if he is not already hostile? You just assume he will be violent after shaking your hand? Is this a serious video? I hope that last one was a joke.
