@@carlsagan5189 alternative facts, by definition, do not exist within the same dimension. Or reality. Every universe has different physical and mystical properties. This one has a specific set of rules and events that happen because of how its formed. Taking note of a specific rule or event is objectively known as a "fact". To our knowledge, something cannot be true and not true at the same time.
Edit: therefore, alternative facts do not exist. Take gravity as an example. Gravity is a fact. What goes up, must come down. Now one could argue anti gravity exists. Or in your words, an "alternative truth". But anti gravity is just another objective "thing" that we havent discovered and labeled yet. Its a different thing. Not an "alternative fact"

However, since he said "just over", that could mean 10 or 12 years later after 2014: *2024* or *2026*
It depends on what the "start" is referring to. If start is referring to actually sending out nukes you could be very correct. However if start is referred to the event that eventually lead to a nuclear war 2014 may be very correct. May I remind you that in 2014 Russia invaded the Crimea in Ukraine?

sure. but the point is that "there will be" change, so for someone who doesn't want to change history, that is a weird path to take, a very wrong one i'd argue. say this guy time travels in russia round about the beginning of the 20th century. by definition, he being there would be a change, however slight. but let's go further and say that he and his tech and knowledge would undoubtedly mesmerize anyone (i mean i'd listen to every word he says) as he "does" in this project. what do you think would've happened if he said: you know i don't want to change history by killing anyone but trust me when i say communism sucks ass, which is along the lines of "protect your democracy"? i argue the change would be greater than if he actually shot lenin himself. obviously there are degrees to the change but i'd say it would be near impossible to really know what would happen even having the knowledge that someone traveled back to our time and just as fast vanished
Regardless of political opinion/affiliation, these shorts are extremely well done, in my opinion. Raises plenty of philosophical points, reflects on the humans' natural denial of what they can't understand, and presents it in a cool sci-fi setting. This film company has done pretty good.
fun but contradictory, he says it doesnt matter if humans die, that noone in universe cares if asteroids or suns kill our planet, but wont tell us name or help someone stop nuclear war that killed his ancestors :D why owuld they care about our history if they are smart enough to know origin and other universes exist its badly written really!

If anyone weakened our status with other countries it is Trump. Also, he appealed to humanity's primal instincts of hating anyone different as evidenced by his KKK support and him publicly stating he hates Mexicans and Muslims. The Ailen said he would appeal to this countries primal instincts and I think that would be closest. Also Biden hasn't weakened our status with countries anything near Trump. When Trump was elected there was condemnation around the world. Not so with Biden. I'm not on either side just objectively looking at the facts. In my opinion there will not be a true elected president until the abolishment of the Electoral College. Good job! This is very good. I love it. Please make it a 10 part series....by making the Alien escape and randomly come across scientists, philosophers, historians etc and have interesting conversations with them before finishing his observation.

Just to get some things clear: legit or fake, what this video refers to is a video recorded in 1947. In the first part it says the nuclear war will happen in a century, meaning 2040-2050. In the other parts it says half a century, meaning 1990-2000.
I think we can all agree to approximate this to “nuclear war will happen within 2000-2050”.
It also said that a leader will rule the USA for a brief time and somehow corrupt democracy. It said that the responsible of this is currently alive (in 1947). Said that there will be international condemnation and he will order a preemptive nuclear strike.
Trump was born in 1946, so he was actually alive at the time the video was taken, there has been international condemnation and the threat of a nuclear war, but nothing happened. More and more countries are starting to act like trump and to like trump’s philosophy, so the international condemnation doesn’t hold anymore.
Now, I can’t imagine what it meant with “briefly”, it could be months as it could be decades. We already know it traveled light years to reach us, so it isn’t really clear. There are so many questions that would’ve been much more useful but hey, guess that wouldn’t help maintaining this mysterious and stuff.
Either it is a well studied fake, or a real warning with an intellectually underdeveloped human receiving it

I watched this interviewed 2years ago, and I'm still watching it everytime there're news about UFO.

What really makes this well done is not the special effects. It's the scientific accuracy of what is being said. Kind of scary really.

The theoretically proposed infinite multi-verse, the nature of consciousness, and yes, even the idea that a society would eventually move past the need for a "God". In scientific, fact based terms, we have no experiment and therefore no evidence of any "God". And lastly, our democracy can and will at some point collapse. History has proven that time and time again.

So you may be right, we may never get past our need to believe in some higher power. I'm personally on the fence. The pure evil in the world leads me to lean towards no "God". But, I've also have witnessed what I would consider a "miracle". So idk. But the science, the baseline understanding of theoretical physics, the idea that out of string theory comes infinite universes. How not all can support life. How each universe can have different physical properties. All cutting edge theories that have gained huge scientific followings. That's all I was referring to. They did their homework when it came to the science.
