Hi, it's ok to be curious.....so having wavy or straight hair isn't attached to a culture. The history behind braiding goes back to the slavery times where our ancestors braided to communicate with maps etc and to secretly send food to each other. Also blonde hair isn't copying another race because it's been proven that black people can also be born with blue eyes and or blonde hair (if you Google this I'm sure you will find all the information)
