The one thing I found shocking and hilarious about this episode was that Rogue, an ultra future human who plays Tabletop D&D has no idea what Cosplay is. 😂
Well I don’t think Rogue actually is human, as he refers to Ruby and Emily as humans when saying “do you really think we should be telling humans” and the character description refers to him as alien. However, Doctor Who loves retcons so he could literally be anything. Just please I beg do not have him be Jack Harkness like so many people think it wouldn’t work.
::on the floor:: Rogue is that one person in your D&D group who refuses to roleplay! Who ramps up an ability like Persuasion or Seduction and then just cannot bring themselves to act it out :). It could seem like a narrative error, to have a character who loves D&D enough to take a class name as their call sign CHOKE when they have to improvise, but I thought it was excellent :). EDIT: To be fair, Rogue says “The Childur cosplay, not me”. He knows what it is, he’s just shy :). ::resumes giggling::
What i find interesting is how this was shot, reminiscent of Pride and Prejudice with Keira Knightley (the waltz scene in Take the Lead also comes to mind).
Gay in which way? There are at least three definitions for Gay. That being, a kind of happiness, a sexual orientation, and being strange. Maybe you mean all three at the same time, then, yes.
Yeah 👍 They really should change the meaning of Pride as less exclusive, and more inclusive. To me, it no longer just represents just sexual orientation and gender identity, but ethnicity, beliefs, cultural, and everything that makes *every* person unique and special. We should celebrate that.

@@Orpheus_Films He had a companion of his own in the past, so I can see that person being a human who introduced him to D&D and Kylie Minogue

Rogue reminded me a very little bit of Mr. Darcy.
They missed a trick by not having the quartet play ‘Can’t Get You Out of My Head’ by Kylie Minogue. That was already their song after all.
YOU CAD!
The Chemistry between these two is electric.
And it had to be a tango
More to the point, it had to be Libertango

There's a lot to be said for subtlety in art...
😂😂😂
thought this scene was great
Yeah
Yup!
What's the song playing in the background please?
Okay it's Libertango but the lyrics I remember are from "I've seen that face before"
This cene is mildly gay.
Mildly?
@@pipsdontlie3031 , wait, you don't just dance ballet with the first guy you met that then tried to incinerate you?

@user - At least it's not Torchwood-levels of gay, lol.
The reworking of "Libertango" (I've seen that face before) was absolutely brilliant!
Happy pride month y’all lol
