Hey sound engineers… listen to the show, the constant breathing threshold filter that makes it sound like constant volume adjustments are occurring. Turn that back 50%
I did this once to my bedroom and bathroom, things were great for a while and then the area cluttered itself again! I can tell the difference and need to do round two. Ladies, if you declutter your make up and misc. beauty supplies, you'll find that you can get ready for work so much faster. Less time deciding and searching. Biggest benefit to minimalism? Space. If you really miss all that clutter, you can always put it back after a week or two.
You can get ready faster clotheswise, too! If you only have thoughtful clothes (& by that I mean clothes that fit well, you like, and match with other clothes so you can make a complete outfit) it is so easy to pick an outfit! Thanks for reminding me, I need to update my closet! So peaceful to have less and mindful items.
This video came up for me as I was cleaning my house. Perfect timing. I think I am just going to pull things out and really think, why am I keeping this? I wish I could just Box 📦 everything like I was moving but I think that what I will do is get boxes and just get rid of the stuff I know I haven’t used in a year. If the thought pop through that I may need it and it costs less than $20 to replace, I am just going to get rid of it
I always tell my boys, "Treat everyone with love and courtesy, but carefully choose who you let speak into your life (influence you or give you advice)."
Love u guys I found u ion Anthony Oneil’s site saw your movie on Netflix ordering your book and I started to get rid of stuff. About 80 % exactly is what means value to me . Excited about my future now glory be to God
Decent show considering the fact that I can't stand Josh; he's so arrogant. Trying to make himself sound profound and philosophical is simply tiresome to listen to. Ryan is cool, and the Doc is a rock star! Love listening to Delony.
Enjoy these guys, and good interview, but would love to see Josh Becker or Dawn, The Minimal Mom interviewed! Love the Seagull analogy! Also, musical outro over guest talking at minute 24 was weird.
Another sound comment. I don't know what is going on, but the volume fades in and out. I thought my wireless earbuds that I use with my phone were trash, but it is also happening on here with the speakers ~ no earbuds. I think some adjustments are needed. Thanks.
@@CarlGorn I am sorry. I hope I didn't come off as insensitive. I was genuinely curious. I wish I could fix this for you! I hope you are finding strength and support in your journey.
Trying to persuade someone is not loving? Sounds like a straight contradiction to the real meaning of "love" which is to serve others and want the best for them. It just depends on how it(persuasion) is done. Clarify this comment please.
To me, conditional love is an oxymoron like jumbo shrimp, and unconditional love is just love. If love has conditions on it, is it really love? "In order to earn my love, you must fulfill this list of criteria?" What has done wonders in my life is to treat people with love as a default setting, loving everyone for who they are, whether in a romantic or friendship relationship, or if needed.... from a distance.
@@zacharylutz9588 try that in marriage, see how it goes. Everyone has expectations in relationships. If your partner starts sleeping around---I'm sure that "criteria" list might come up whether youve written it down or not(what's a vow for then?). Love may still be there--but the relationship won't if you have boundaries for self-love also. The point was persuasion--love is not unconditional. Its better said as undeserved. I love my kids and family no matter what---it doesnt mean I would never try to persuade them of a possible better choice in a loving manner. Especially if their choices are destroying their life.
Nah, go to Joshua Becker's channel for better minimalism advice with a non-denominational but Christian perspective. The guy does posts that are short and to-the-point. Uplifting but actionable.
That’s really comes off as a rude comment. Even if your online, respect matters. They are sharing their story, if you don’t like it fine, but maybe try to be a bit more respectful of their time and what they have shared here today because it’s deeply personal and takes a lot of courage to share these stories.
I’m a minimalist and a Delony fan! What a great day

12:09 Control Room comment. I love the dynamics among this team.

@@bestbudsourchannel4807 Absolutely. When you only have the bare minimum of clothes, you have less laundry to build up as well.
I was listening to this podcast and when he mentioned a Lexus, my phone paused and Alexis listened 😂
This is an amazing, open interview. I appreciate the honesty and have learned so much.
Loved this interview! Please do more!! So many life lessons in here.
“Kelly’s in this phase right now”🤣John aint right
I’m a minimalist after watching their Netflix documentary.
Wow! I like them on the Ramsey show but this was next level perfect!! Hope this happens more often!
Thanks for doing this show!

Did no one else catch the Control Room insertion about Delony's need for common sense at 12:09? Lol!

It's hard to pay attention to guys talking about having too much when I'm still figuring out how to get the stuff I need.
What do you need?
@@freezinginhere About $4m in medical care, for stuff that's so rare, no insurance will cover it.

The problem I see is minimalist monkey branches to people which may bring peace at first then worldwide lonliness.
