Tip: Don't feed your Tamagotchi snacks to make it happy as it will make it unhealthy and it will die before evolving if you do it to much. Instead play the games to make it happy until it no longer wants to play then use snacks. Learnt this on the Tamagotchi wiki after wondering why my Tama died after 3 days.
Earlier today I was getting angry about something (not related to my tama) but I happened to check and my tama was wanting attention, I took it as a sign I shouldn’t be getting angry and so I didn’t discipline my tama.. and the attention icon eventually went away. And then I rewarded it with a cake ❤🍰
I think I inadvertently made him responsible for my feelings of guilt. I beat up my kid sister growing up and so that’s why I was afraid to discipline him 😳

As soon as i found out about the color Tamas i was desperate to get one! I think that the color Tamas are very adorable and I’m so excited to see more Tamas being released in the future!

I’m part of many different tamagotchi community groups and most of the people there think the coloured tammas to be distasteful and a shameful attempt at bandai advancing the concept of tamagotchi to keep with the times. I enjoy them too as I find them simple and fun. They are less focused on the caring aspect and more focused on building a personality and relationship for your tamma, as well as the importance of generation and family. I think this unique take should not be viewed as a positive step. And yes I hope one day to own a smart soon. I have ordered a pix however the ON/MEETS are not available in my region, so I’m having harder times getting my hands on them.
@@Lotus_Blossomz I got my meets from Amazon Japan, and they are also available on eBay! I think that the color tamagotchis are the cutest, and I’m so excited for bandai to release more! My favourite of the color tamagotchis is probably the meets/on, as it provides more options for users to interact with their tamagotchis and have a special connection with their Tama, or a feeling or friendship. The pix also dabbles in this field, but i feel like the meets/on’s option of ‘Travel to other Town’ is a game changer considering it’s more realistic, that you have to talk to whoever you want to marry a lot in order to build up friendship. It does get a bit tedious at times to spend a lot of time building up relationships in the end, but i find it rewarding after working hard to build up friendships to see your Tamas getting happily married together, with a cute little marriage scene to top it all off, with a new tama being born.
If you are too busy to take care of it because of work or school, then press b to go to the time menu thing then hold down a and c at the same time and change the time to it’s sleeping time.
Very useful, but when you do the game, you don’t guess what number he’s gonna go to. It’s actually a guessing game. You guess if the number is gonna be bigger or smaller than the number he picks. Then after you pick higher or lower, he reveals a number that’s either higher or lower. You still did an amazing vid though, and after I got the hang of my tamagotchi, I was obsessed. Also, I think the first one is smaller. Hopes this helps😊

This was super helpful, my Tamagotchi was always sad and it was a pain playing the games trying to get the happiness up, I have no clue the snack option was for happiness.
By the way if anyone was asking how to change pm to am or am to pm just press the two buttons a nad c and then it should beep and then to change hours a and minutes b and if it is am and you want it to change to pm just keep clicking a untill it is the time you disire and the same thing if it is pm and you want it to be am ty for reading hope this helps
~Don't feed your newer gen 1 and 2 tamas cake slices/snacks! ~ There is a glitch that makes them die early/at level 3! it happened to me. also, if their weight gets to high, the die faster. that is just from my reaserch, so ignore if you want but i recommend that you follow this advice
@@valarie2660 you can always feed them cake, however i wouldn’t advise giving them too much cake, as there is a glitch that causes your Tama to die early if you do.

cool thank you for the hints. I just got my tama today, I've been searching for one for almost 5 years. I played with these when I was 12 and loved mine. I collected like 3 of them. But now their like 45 dollars or even 80 dollars I've seen some. When I saw it at walmart which I've never seen. The guy said it was the only one they had they didn't even have a place for them and it was 20 dollars. I was like MINE! lol. I'm so happy.

If it dies you just have to press the first and third button to get a new egg! You don’t have to reset it or throw it away, just press the first and third button
So I can recently just got a tama and I named him barry and less then 24 hours later he died. So this helped slot for me to know what I need to do. Thanks
I think you had your buttons backwards when describing how the game works. If you want to guess that the number on the right will be lower than the first number, you press the left button (A). If you want to guess it will be higher, you press the middle button (B).
If you need to pause your tamagotchi to go to school, or anywhere, you can just press B (the middle button) then press A and C at the same time, and the word SET should appear, and it will become paused!
My friends tamagotchi died today and she was really sad it’s name was Jeremy and it was sick so when she was giving its shot to heal it didn’t want to take it so it died but before that she started panicking so I made some surprises for Jeremy his favorite food Cake 🎂

You can’t shut it off unless you take out the batteries, but to pause it press B to go to the clock screen, then hold A then press C. The word SET should appear, and you can turn the time to a later hour to make it go to sleep, or just leave it on the SET screen and come back to it when you’re ready, by changing the time to the correct hour and holding A and pressing C again then B again.
If it dies on the back is a tiny button that you click witch makes an other one bot the button is really small so you will need to click it with a pencil ✏️ or something small

Hey! 2 questions for a brand new tama owner here. How do you pause your tama? *I have a gen 2 re-release* And in terms of setting the time on your tamagotchi, how do you know what time to set it for? Thanks!
You can pause your tamagotchi by pressing the B button (that leads you to the clock menu), then press C while holding down A, and the word SET should appear. Then you can leave your tamagotchi, and come back to it whenever you’re ready! When you want to start it up again, press A to cycle through hour, and B to cycle through minute. Once you’re done, press C and then B to go back to your tamagotchi. You can use this same method for setting the time if it’s not accurate. Set the time to the one you see on your phone.

I have read that on the new gen 1, 2 and on.. re-releases they are programmed so that tamas randomly die if you feed them snacks after age 3. No clue why.
Yeah, i learned this after a lot of my Tamas died from this. I think the snacks are best served to the Tama in moderation instead of spammed, because when i spammed them my Tama died

If it’s sick and asleep then it won’t die. But if it’s awake and sick for a long time the chances of it dying are higher

Hey! 2 questions for a brand new tama owner here. How do you pause your tama? *I have a gen 2 re-release* And in terms of setting the time on your tamagotchi, how do you know what time to set it for? Thanks!
You can pause your tamagotchi by pressing the B button (that leads you to the clock menu), then press C while holding down A, and the word SET should appear. Then you can leave your tamagotchi, and come back to it whenever you’re ready! When you want to start it up again, press A to cycle through hour, and B to cycle through minute. Once you’re done, press C and then B to go back to your tamagotchi. You can use this same method for setting the time if it’s not accurate. Set the time to the one you see on your phone.

Hi.... is there way to pause or turn it off... without resetting it...
For example if I go out for the day or if I don't have it with me.
to pause it press B to go to the clock screen, then hold A then press C. The word SET should appear, and you can turn the time to a later hour to make it go to sleep, or just leave it on the SET screen and come back to it when you’re ready, by changing the time to the correct hour and holding A and pressing C again then B again.

I have read that on the new gen 1, 2 and on.. re-releases they are programmed so that tamas randomly die if you feed them snacks after age 3. No clue why.
Yeah, i learned this after a lot of my Tamas died from this. I think the snacks are best served to the Tama in moderation instead of spammed, because when i spammed them my Tama died

I just found my Gen 2 Tamagotchi from 99, and it still works! I decided to started to give it another go. I am not great at it. XD
The game is called High Card, Low Card -- it was created to be a drinking game. XD just thought that was a fun fact.

If you set the time correctly, it should fall asleep at night and wake up in the morning, preventing it from dying at night!

Yup! Just press B, taking you to the clock screen, then press A and C at the same time and the word SET should appear. Leave your tamagotchi and when you come back to it, set the time and press C once you’re done to start it up again!
