I had them right when they were released.
I Love This! 🔥 🔥🔥
I recently bought a pair with the straight arm. So much fun! So yes I would use it today for scratching and mixing.
This is awesome! I love Vestax gear...I wanna see some more!
I think it was brought onto the market in 1999 because I bought it at a discount in 2001. It's actually a good turntable but I still exchanged it for a 1200. 1200s could be found everywhere and that also has the advantage that you don't have to bring your own record player with you to every jam. The crazy thing is that I returned the Vestax record player on 9/11. On the way back from the DJ shop it was announced on the radio that the second tower had been hit.
That is a really vivid recollection!
Awesome! Thanks for sharing , hope you got a good deal!

I got the pdx a2 mk 2 still rock with them in my room on 2024 i got vestax collection of different turntable i just need the QFO the shit about vestax they are very delicate turntable cuz they are made out of cheap wood but those are great to practice your scratching in your room oh a party in your house they very rare now n day
thats an awesome deck and still have mine to this day! hope you find those treasures!
what is software u use? Traktor or Serato?
These aren't heavy duty turntables. They have thin aluminium plates ontop but they are cheap woodern chipboard/MDF. People buy them thinking they're plastic or metal and they aren't. They chip easily and the glue can sometimes start to breakdown and the pannels separate.
The components on them are of good quality. The switches, motor, potentiometer etc are all very good. But yeah the actual turntable casing is very soft and easily damaged.
When you're buying one always check the plastic piece underneath the main metal tone arm which the arm rest is attached to as it is prone to cracking at the screw holes and it's not always visible. If you're buying one and it's cheap, that might be why.
def not durable esp for mobiles. i think it was best as a showcase turntable not an everyday gig piece. thanks for the input!
Hell yes!!! Can’t wait for the next episodes 🎉🎉🎉
