It's good to see CWL busy after the plandemic shutdown. The long lines and 'cattle-sprint' to the major attractions is reminiscent for me from working there when Skyrider opened in '84. I would like to see a rejuvenation of the Kingswood Music Theatre. There was nothing better than to top-off a day at CWL than to see a big name band in the evening back in the 80s.
So awesome to have a wonderland vet watch these videos! A Kingswood comeback would be awesome since I’ve never seen a show there!! And yes, super nice to see the rush back at CW after COVID - hopefully that means another major addition soon :)
Another Amazing Video! Yesturday was still a great day despite the chaos! With I saw you!! Im definitely extremely exited for this upcoming season! With all the restrictions gone, so much is happening/going to happen! Shows, Events, Festivals, Fireworks (Im so happy their going to close at 10!) CANNOT WAIT FOR THE SUMMER!!!
There was so much chaos but we can’t expect to get this whole amazing park to ourselves!!! And YES - SO EXCITED for everything resuming to normal this year :)
That is super exciting!!!! I really appreciate you watching and the kind words - it means the world. I have a whole wonderland playlist which should equip you with everything you need to know before visiting!! Which ride are you looking forward to most?
I got lucky with lines when I was there. I got there right at opening and ran to Yukon Striker. Then Minebuster and Backlot Stunt Coaster were walk ons when I rode them and I waited about 20 minutes for Behemoth. The longest I waited in line for a ride was 1 hour 15 min for Leviathan. Minebuster was running amazing and Wild Beast was running not bad either. My last ride of the day for me was Behemoth and only waited 45 minutes near park close.
That sounds like a great day. The trade off I guess is usually going to be between Yukon and Leviathian - which ever one you don't go to first you will have to wait in line for. What is your favourite of the big top 3?
@@stephenbarr1995 Oooo so close to my top 3. It goes Steel Vengeance, Maverick and then Levi. So grateful to have such an amazing coaster at my home park.
We're you actually even there "minebuster was running amazing" they only have ONE TRAIN!! It was running terrible!! And the tracks are mangled and the ride is well past its day to begin with. Over an hour wait. You weren't there if you are saying it was running amazing.
will definitely miss the dairy queen by med faire’s entrance. it was always a tradition to get a cookie dough blizzard at the end of each visit. new sub!
I think for how busy it was, Canada's Wonderland did the best that they could in order to run the park as efficiently as they can. They didn't expect this many people to come, and I can imagine the stress of all the hardworking team members in every department. I know that Canada's Wonderland will be able to figure this out very quickly, as they always do, and I'm sure that the issues during these days before the real opening date will be resolved pretty quickly. We can't blame the park for these really hectic days, and the fact that the park was able to handle this many people was impressive~
100000% - All the staff must've been under tremendous pressure to keep everything flowing and they did quite a good job. I am very curious to see what they do implement next week to hopefully make the experience even smoother for all guests! How was your day?
@@TylerCocci I unfortunately didn't go to the park, but based on my prior experiences pre-COVID, I have never had a bad day at the park~ Cedar Fair runs this park well~
Not even close. They had rides running one train and people only found out after getting to the front. They refused to put a sign at the front stating that. 90% are miserable to be there and barely do the status quo of what's expected of them. Only staff member with a good attitude I seen was the lady at the gate. The rest acted like being there was a punishment.
@@codythecoyote Yes!!! Make sure you get there at 9:30 and go straight to the line up in front of Leviathan - if not, you will be waiting a very long time! Also, the most diverse food is at Backlot Cafe (in the action zone) but you can find tons of good food around the park - i have a full video food on that so make sure to check it out!!! Which coaster are you looking forward to most?!

From Ottawa here. Going to wonderland with my gf in a couple of weeks. Are the featured foods an all-year thing? Are we better off getting the fast-lane pass? Those lines are hella long. Great vid
Hey! That’s SO exciting!! Sadly the feature foods are not here all year long, they are only for festivals happening later in the year. As for the fast lane, I also have a full video about that, but it is really going to depend on the day you are there but check out the vid for all the info!
I went yesterday for season pass holder opening day and I absolutely loved it as usual since Canada’s Wonderland is always my happy place and helps me feel happiness. As packed as it was, it was still a very fun and enjoyable day for me. The line for my food was long but I didn’t mind because no matter what, my happy place home park always puts me in a great mood and helps me forget about stressful things. And I got in the park around 10am and stayed until 8pm closing time and I was able to get on Yukon striker, behemoth, leviathan, thunder run, Psyclone, behemoth a second time and Yukon striker a second time to end the night. It was a good amount of rides for a really really packed day. It was amazing, and the workers are so friendly and kind talking to all of us at Yukon. The workers did a really good job, I can’t imagine the stress they felt with it being that crowded
Wonderland is such a happy place for me aswell! It is like all the worries just float off your back and you can have fun. That is great - I am so glad you made the most of the day!! What is your favourite coaster?
@@TylerCocci I agree, it always helps clear my head from stressful things. And my favourite is a tie between the best 3 Yukon striker, leviathan and behemoth. Such fun coasters 🎢
That is a hard one. On a seasons pass 100%, but I have never personally had to try the daily version. Meals at the park will cost you approximately $20 per person, so if you intended on eating both lunch and dinner - it will probably be worth it. Run the numbers and have a good time :)
@@TylerCocci i was kinda at fault because i bud the line and apparently someone screamed, but it seemed like an overreaction, all of my other friends were already there i didnt want to go any further, so then she screamed and said she will call the police or something because we bud the line, quite unfortunate how she recorded us, even though we were minors, we went all the way back but she was still pretty pissed.
