Dunno why they didn't make the window clear. Would be cooler if they did. Reminds me of an Onkyo dac/amp I had years ago, if a touch bigger. Sadly the battery died.
I didn't enjoy the G5 with the HE1000se, it made it sound harsh in the treble and the tonality was just slightly off everywhere. I later got a Fiio Q15 and that is a better pairing, it sounds closer to the Topping L70 amp that I normally use at home.
Love my G5. Bought it used for $150 and it powers my planars on the go! 😇

I had two of them stop working randomly, and topping service was bad. I highly recommend avoiding these
