Ditto lol! I remember when they first opened...god was it packed..I still have the ox coin they were giving out when it first opened
Yassss
How is this man not 500 pounds
Russdiculous it's a Asian thing hahaha
Russdiculous pretty sure he works out so he can eat more lol
Bao G yup, there's a vid about him saying that he works out to eat
his heart may say differently, even with working out a diet like this will clog your arteries, the term "skinny fat man" applies here ....you don't have to be fat to get heart disease...
most foods he eats are fresh and natural... #killjoy
In every video mike makes he will definitely say "I wish I had some hot oil in here"
Gerald Tym yes lmao
@Gerald, until he gets to the Middle East. I cannot remember if it was in Pakistan, Egypt or Jordan? But I binge watched the country's series and he never asked for any Chile oil or extra Chiles 😳
Watching Mike eat makes me feel full.
can you tell me your secret because when I see this delicious food I even go hungry after I've eaten
Veltior it's just so much food. Even when I go to a Buffet or a family gathering with alot of food my appetite is gone.
Foster Child Awww, Im sorry. Hope you get something good to eat.
makes me hungry :D
So glad I am eating dinner while watching this.
The real musubis is not in shirokiya, its in the 7-elevens
Agreed! I always get the teriyaki one. But, classic is always good too! I miss home.
Agreed. I get the spam Katsu Misubi for lunch because school lunch is not good
bruh its all about the BBQ Chicken musubi... buggah is ono!
and if you get the time and extra money, gotta go try Tanioka's musubi
I wanna know if he had the musubi before or after the wagyu curry, cuz brah...after is no fair lol
That's it! I'm walking to Honolulu from Los Angeles.
Charlie An don't forget your tabi! (water socks)
Desiree Paahana
Of course! What was I thinking?
Charlie An
Don't forget to bring all that cash 💰 we're pretty expensive
If you have your phone and you are on your way, you forgot to go to the bacchanal buffet.
DatGurl TalksPidgin
Yuppppp $$$$$
Thanks to you at 32 I've had my first boba tea, Chinese hot oil, and pho soup today.
All in one day? Lol cool.
don't get to hawaii much, but Takahashi's market (family owned) in San Mateo makes awesome Spam Musubi (where you can see/taste the spam). Also their Portuguese musubi is great... as is their delicious variety of Hawaiian-style plate lunches and bento. My definite go-to place when craving a bit of Hawaii!
We don't have Portuguese Musubi in Hawaii .. We do SPAM MUSUBI ... Portuguese sauce is good ,
I'm currently in Hawaii and I just learned that the Shirokiya had been closed permanently. Broke my heart. Tried it back in 2017 and it was amazing. Covid strikes again.
Same
wow mikey, you having a good time
How in the hell did you fit all those food in your stomach man?..a respect to the master eater
Always loved Shirokiya even back in 1970's.
m young yup!!! Not the same now!!! New owners and all:(
OMG YOU WERE AT SHIROKIYA? I WAS THERE YESTERDAY:))))
xcalibrx he only was in Honolulu for 4 days...guess he just finished editing the video and just posted it today
me too
Yukio I
😂 lol
Please NEVER stop making videos. I learned so much
Happy to see you having having the time of your life. Enjoy yourself, Mike!
Food in Hawaii is pretty pricy
Blah Smith
It's their only way to survival::: TOURISM✔️
Mistylilac Misty your comment made me laugh so hard at it's stupidity 🙄 keep telling yourself that.
Blah Smith everything is pretty pricy
Shirokiya is an extreme case since they are in a huge shopping mall that charges high rent. But, everything is more expensive than the Mainland United States because of shipping costs.
Alot has to be imported as its volcanic islands so tourism, and high prices go hand in hand. Thank goodness for spam, I am in the UK but visited 21 years ago and the smaller islands are even more expensive.
Can you bring me around the world? You need a travel partner! 😋
Merlot M bruh
Merlot M wink wink wink
who do you think is holding the camera? ;) I believe he has a gf
Sooyoung Kim pretty sure he's holding the camera xD
6:43. He''s eating a burger with two hands, someone is recording him :)
The medium rare curry rice looks amazing !
It's not medium rare, it's blood red!!!!(not cook at all) Are you kidding me??? Lmao
I ate there my favorite tho is the dessert
You need to try the spam musubi from 7/11 or made by Tokyo Bento. They're sooooooo goooooood. Always my favorite!
And food trucks! Not just shrimp trucks!
Amy He those spam musubis he bought looks to NOT have much flavor as they should put some sauce to soak into the rice before putting the spam down onto the rice
hawaiiguy1 Yes, I never buy them at Shirokiya.
I used to get them at Shirokiya before they changed the store. They used to have the sauce when it wasn't individual food stalls.
I notice a lot of places here on Maui don't season their rice. #1 sign of a meh musubi to me... #2? They pack the rice too much...
Brah, I used to mop up the 7/11 musubis. And for food trucks, gotta have levern's and Hawaiian twisted taters
Omg you look like Jackie Chan!
I just love these videos
You're in Oahu my home I miss my home and my ohana and all the ono food there. This hit home with me.
Out of all the food you tried here, Donburi would be the one I go for :D
It has a beautiful presentation, and I love thinly sliced beef with rice! I can imagine how tasty it is with teriyaki or soy sauce!
I think Mikey has hollow legs, he can defiantly put a lot of food away.
Marie Moss Below the camera, lies a skeleton.
short sleeves??? and then I remembered -------- HAWAII duh
Those fried chicken look more like Korean style to me. Heavy sauce, probably sweet and spicy?
PassbyU That market place is a mix of chinease, korean, japanease, Vietnamese and Hawaiian. best place in the world from all over.
Hea HEa no not really ……
Leopold III Ramen was Chinese ;-;
Hea HEa Sounds like heaven
Panic! At The Fall Out Pity Party The guys is just mocking Koreans. I heard there were news about Koreans claiming some of the stuff originating from Korea.
You can imagine how these news would provoke Japanese and Chinese people.
I came here once and it was CROWDED. LIKE EVERYONE WAS TOUCHING SHOULDERS. But it was a weekend......
Woah this dude can eat haha 😂
Rav Singh Iì
***** haha that's very true. I love his channel his got some great stuff on there. The only problem is..... It always leaves me feeling hungry😋
Rav Singh You know who else can eat?
Approximately 7.4 billion people on earth.
you can seriously eat! haha
You wanna know the real flat out reason why United States them atomic bombs in Japan type on youtube The Petrodollar | War Machine.
Youre suppose to get the musubi from the 7-eleven XD
With all your food adventures, have you ever spit anything out?
C. Lynn Higginbotham That is not possible.
I'm always surprised when you don't love something.
In Shirokiya I recommend going to Kamitoku Ramen in the wwaaayyyy back for the "Spicy Beefy Wild" it's super beefy and has a great kick!
Agree, I have that every single time I go there :)
OMG, Wagyu katsu curry??? DROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL...
i saw you
You should have said hello. Mike seems to love when people from the Internet stop and say hi. At least so long as he's not busy.
nanoflower1 he was walking like he needed to be somewhere fast, i didnt want to bother
What's his number
I love it how your eyes roll back in your head when you really, really like something. Love your videos, you have a wonderful presence and enjoyable description of your meals and events. Thank you, and safe travels especially this holiday season.
Tammy Humphreys I'm pretty sure that's his orgasm face. We all have one!
Damn they put to much rice on that spam musubi 😒
Has anyone ever mentioned that he looks like a young Jackie Chan?
Straddllw This is his son.
Straddllw too many people to count
that's what I said!!!
Frequently
He has multiple times actually
Aloha Mike!!! If you are still on Oahu you MUST stop by Leonards Bakery on Kapahulu, near Waikiki, and try their fresh Malasads!! They have different flavors but the original malasada with the sugar is the best. They are a local favorite !!!

Definitely!!! Leonard's Bakery malasadas are a definite MUST TRY!!!👍👍
Dude, you have good timing. Shirokiya was closed as they moved, when I visited again for my wedding it was still closed. I was so bummed.
Hairs getting long there mike
That was a lot of amazing looking food ! :)
Mike, when did you join the NRA? I didn't expect to see a gun show in a video about a food court.
Hey Mike are you that little kid who stared in Raiders of the Lost Ark?? wow I think you are bro!!
The spam & the rice is suppose to tie you over till the next meal if you are on the run. That's why you have a little more rice.
seriously the best spam musubi is at 7/11, greasy deliciousness with perfect rice ratio.
Reina Agree the best on the island is in found at the gas station delis.
the rice/spam/seaweed taste best after a swim when hungry.
Just looking at the food makes me feel better.
Thiago Leo Kim He eats so much, I can feel the food transferring to my stomach.
You wanna know the real flat out reason why United States them atomic bombs in Japan type on youtube The Petrodollar | War Machine.
I'm from Hawaii. They just remodeled Ala Moana. Their food is delicious. You should try Goma Tei Ramen next. It's also located in the Ala Moana mall.
Awe, I miss Shirokiya Ala Moana Center. That's the place to eat!!!! Thanks for sharing your many food adventures with us! Im a fan, I watch you all the time. Happy Holidays!!
did this jsut open?! i was in Hawaii in May and went to that shopping centre and didnt see it :(
Excellent job! You are in my old neighborhood! Love your travel videos - it's like hanging out with a friend. Thanks!
he looks dead at the end of this video
Sp00gette IKR! He looks jet lagged and exhausted.
Sp00gette "kanaka attack"
Next time...get beer! Haha locals mostly go there for the cheap beer.
The "Pocho" burger is Portuguese sausage not spam!!
Just went to see, completely close. Not sure if it will ever reopen. Tough competition from foodland across. Covid did a number on all the business
Oh, no! I just added it to my itinerary 😔
You should go Thelma's. It's at Waipahu, they have good filipino food
Get the "super colon blow"... your gonna need it.
That food court will give you food coma everytime. It indeed like night market. Hope you try poke or head to one in Calif.
worked out there for a month, take a trip to the north shore. the food trucks are great. the white shrimp truck, can't miss it, you can write on it..really good..
I was there about 2 weeks ago lol
I love that place! they just recently opened on that side of the mall. Soooo much bigger now
You seem to always be travelling. Have you ever thought of making vlogs? I love your food videos and I'd love to see vlogs too ☺
I think he has a vlog channel! It's not super active tho :)
Hayley 헤일리 he has a blog channel and 2 science channels
Spam to rice ratio has to be perfect
I'm so jealous I wanna eat those!!!!!! Drooling*
Shirokiya is great, but you should have gone to Teddy's or St. Louis Drive-Inn for the burger. Also, you should try Soon's (Salt Lake Shopping Center) for kalbi ribs and meat jhun.
I was gonna recommend Shirokiya in you previous video 😅
I have to check this place out!
wow looks incredible. then we wonder why we get fat lmao
I know you don't like eating raw food but try poke
Born and raised in Honolulu but now living in San Antonio, Texas. This series brings back so many memories. I've been in San Antonio for over 23 years so I can't really tell you where to eat anymore but you have been hitting many of the favorites. You need to try some Poke ( marinated raw fish ). Unfortunately there are so many varieties so the best will be different for everyone. Also, there is a char siu bow (Manapua) that has black sugar in center rather than char siu - just ask for black sugar manapua, I think you will like it. It is like a dessert. 😊 Enjoy, I personally miss the food in Hawaii the most!
Wow - Ala Moana mall did a nice renovation of that Japanese place. I was there back in December of last year and although it was my favourite place to eat, it had a high school cafeteria atmosphere to it. Nice vlog! Merry Christmas!
You ate ALL that in 1 day??? How?
damn he eats more in one meal than i do in one day...
Edmund one? Try several day for me lmao
Edmund How much he eats in a week is what I eat in one sitting.
McDonalds.
Make your own Kailua Pork in a slow cooker or your oven. Just use liquid smoke and Hawaiian salt on a fatty pork butt. I always make my own.
Cheryl Medeiros kailua lol slow cooked is good too but nothing like fresh from the IMU!
Desiree Paahana but he lives in Bay area. I have friends who have I'm us but can only get to them when they want to do it. So if I want it I rather make it myself than buy those crappie containers of Keokis!
Cheryl Medeiros o yeah lose money dat kine! das y oni get wen spasho.but wen can, winnahz!
Try look at these....La Caja China pig roasting box
try look at this .....La Caja China pig roasting box
They made the musubi lame they never add teriyaki sauce
What a difference 7 years makes.
Mikey didn't look like he was feeling that well at the end there :)
I like my steak cooked well-done
Mike does not understand the word "moderation".
Never had I noticed how buff you are! You're my new gains inspiration mike!
😱😱Omigosh Shirokiya will definitely be my first stop when I go back home to visit! Everything looked sooooo good. I miss food in Hawaii😭
"If it wasn't so expensive I'd get another one"- Exactly.
Alola! (-o-)
woah!! it looks like you are actually in Japan haha. I'm so hungry now. Japanese curry is my favourite!
Been there many times. What is nice is the Authentic Udon Japanese noodles. also there is a starbucks around the corner from there :)
I started watching your videos a while ago, and here I didn't think I'd see something I've been to. I went there when my family went to Hawaii for a vacation earlier this year. Unfortunately I only got to check it out once while I was there. But I did get to have one of those yummy crepes. Mine had a slice of cheesecake in it. Yum!
Super Jealous! I would love to eat Japanese food that I did not cook! Wakarimasu ka? ^_^
Nice video ! The odd thing is, I could basically guess some of those things weren't going to taste good before he even tried them.
so many delicious foods.
wow, That bao looks way undercooked 2:40
Wow that looked amazing 😉 I've now just ordered a Chinese feast👏🏻
You HAVE to go to MITSUKEN to try their MITSUKEN GARLIC CHICKEN. Can get with plain rice or fried rice. Plain rice is best for soaking up the sweet, garlic sauce flavors. YOU WON'T REGRET IT.
Next time on Oahu look for Mitsuken, Mitsuba, Honolulu Kitchen, Kuni's, Alicia's market, Tanioka, Teruya, Fukuya, Nuuanu okazuya...
That spicy fried chicken pretty much just looked like General Tso Chicken.
Went there 2 years ago. There is such a variety it’s crazy ..... after going around checking out the vast selection I settled for Okonomiyaki .... yummmmmmmm ❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️
You should do a "Best of" each state in the USA.
Honolulu is pronounced (HO-NOH-LOO-LOO), not HAh-Nah-loo-loo. There is no A's in Honolulu. I recommend venturing outside of town and go more toward the Windward and Leeward side of Oahu if you visit that Island again. There's better food in a larger amount at a decent price. Big Island you get great food in Hilo side. Talk with the locals they'll steer you in the right direction. Ala Moana, Honolulu, and Waikiki is more tourist prices and they don't give you plenty food.
Looking forward to your next Hawaii videos!
