Great! Finally a voice coach to see this. I find it evocative and a little terrifying. Shes breaking boundaries in power and placement. I was expecting to see tiles fall from the ceiling. Be sure to play this at a studio with big speakers and a large space. Its a full body experience to feel the thickness batter your skin.

Diana, a unique singer, songwriter and actress from Russia was born in May, 31. 2003 in the Far East of Russia. She is 1,65m/ 5,41ft tall.
Diana has something primal, mystical, but also sensitive and sensual in her voice and she lives her songs. She also has a perfect pitch and her sense of rhythm was exceptional even as a little girl. Diana is a dramatic contralto, the rarest and lowest female voice type (her range C3-D7). Her voice has natural polyphonic overtones and sometimes specifically an undertone = sub harmonic. (You hear the voice an octave lower than Diana sings. It's not that you hear a clear tone straight away, it's more that you feel like there's something in Diana's voice or the song has been edited. Not everyone can hear that.)
Undertone singing is a singing technique that belongs to the main category of overtone singing in which the vibration mode of the vocal cords is modulated to produce sounds that are below the singing tone.

The break of voice made Diana’s voice even darker and deeper. She has mastered this time very professionally and has worked hard to bring back the lost high notes and has expanded her vocal range, currently from C3 - E6. Her genres are folk rock, folk pop, but also jazz, soul, blues, evergreens... and always in the unique Diana style... Tradition meets modernity.
She loves to sing in French, but also sings in English, German, Arabic and Spanish... but only phonetically so far. She plays the piano and ukulele. In 2022 Diana released her first self-written and composed songs..

During 2008 to 2012 Diana sang around 40 songs, including at competitions.
Her mom, Irina Ponik, turned her whole life inside out and started all over with a new motherhood and many new professions - seamstress, manager, vlogger… admirable.
Everything that has to do with Diana's singing training, performances, competitions, looking for sponsors is organized and coordinated by her mother Irina Ponik. She took extra sewing courses too. Since then, she's been sewing all of Diana's stage costumes, because all of these things consume the family budget.
Irina accompanies her daughter on trips and captures her life in photos and videos with the persistence of a visionary. It is admirable how she promotes her daughter's career, teaching her how to fly but makes sure that she is down to earth Remains. The next day, a huge scandal erupted on social media. A door had closed, but a new door opened...
In 2018 and 2019 Diana entered a competition 'You are Super and won twice. That project is unique in the world, an international TV- competition especially for adopted and orphaned children.
The winner of the season will be determined by a 6-day public vote and the final took place in the Kremlin Palace and her videos were uploaded to RUclips and soon Diana had millions of fans.
The project producers help the finalists to start their studies and promote their creativity. Diana won a scholarship and Igor Krutoy (Russian music titan, billionaire, juror and sponsor) gave her a small apartment (37m²/ 398.26 ft²) in Moscow. There she lives with her mother and grandmother and was able to start her vocal training with the best teachers such as Professor Olga Donskoy. (She died of Covid-19 in October 2020). Her Russian fans helped her and found a new voice coach: Alexandra Pismennaya (Sasha), who was a student of Prof. Donskoy. She and Diana are on the same wavelength and even became friends.
2020 Diana graduated from high school with honors as an external student a year earlier as “normal”, applied to music colleges and was rejected (examiners suspected she had a voice defect). But she is normal and healthy. Now she is a student at the university, at the legendary Russian State Institute for Theater and Variety Arts (Juilliard similar to GITIS).
In October 2021 Diana was invited to her first adult contest on Russian television 'The ShowMaskGoOn'. She won!!!
In December 2021, Dianas released her first CD with great success. Maestro Krutoy had introduced Diana to the excellent singer, songwriter and producer Brandon Stone. With Maria Tarasenko (songwriter), the trio created the 9 songs of the album and received gold in June 2022.

And stronger. Side by side there is no comparison.

Diana's version of Dune is better than the original soundtrack and it's impressive. That's agreed. But I'd like to ask you something. You reacted to the "Moscow" performance in this video. Can you please also check "St. Petersburg" version of Diana's Dune? I checked both and they seem to be 100% identical. I think that's not possible for any human being in the world and it must be lip-sync, rather than a live performance. The reason she is admired as a 1 in a billion talent is that she can actually sound studio quality perfect naturally, no editing no effects added. View some of her unplugged work or even vocal only performances, she somehow injects music with the words or your mind is entranced to think its there.
@@jimglass5892 Don't tell me who Diana Ankudinova is. I am very well aware of her solo concert performances and don't come and tell me her studio work and solo concert performances are identically similar. No, there are distinct differences and these differences doesn't mean she can't sing live. But at the end, studio versions and live versions have obvious differences which is natural. One of the biggest problem with Diana's fan base is that they actually think her TV performances are not edited or pitch corrected. Starting from super season of You're Super to this day, everything on NTV has pitch correction or other sound processing. Her studio work also includes pitch correction and sound processing. There are videos on internet showing analysis of her isolated vocals vs. pitch analysis software and there are obvious instances of pitch correction there. This is absolutely the norm in modern music industry by the way, 99% of any studio product these days have pitch correction. That's the way it is unfortunately. I'd prefer the pure sound and talent of the artist with its humanly flaws. There is nothing called "perfect pitch" for humans, humans are not machines. If you want to educate yourself about how broken modern music industry is I'd recommend you to check the RUclips channel "Wings of Pegasus"
You can overlay the audio from both recordings and sync them up. The video recordings are definitely from different performances, but the audio recordings are of the same performance, including the orchestra. Now either the orchestra is all pretending to play, or they've done a little trick with the editing and swapped out the Saint Petersburg audio with a better recording from the Moscow performance. Given this, I'm fairly sure the performances are live, we just haven't heard the Saint Petersburg audio from official sources.
There are other fan-cams of both performances. Comparing those, both Diana and the orchestra go slightly out of sync over the length of the performance, and there are subtle (but very subtle) differences in her vocal performance.
