Excellent review, very few people has knowledge of mechanicals.N u r one of the few people who value such a great product. I am thankful to the ceo of the company who is making such an effort with such low volume
I agree that the company really is making an effort with a low volume product. The Gurkha seems very well made now. Issues of the 2021 model seem to have been solved!
These vehicles are not for everyone. They are niche segment wherein the buyer will know its benefits. People who wants to keep for a longer period will buy. Tempo traveller is not a cheap brand. Time tested vehicle launched and extremely knowledgeable review given. Tks. Eventhough I do not own I am a fan of Gurkha..
I have booked it months back. Going thru many RUclips videos, i was kind of demotivated regarding the middle row space, fit and finish etc( although I have test driven it), but after landing at your review video, i am happy again. Am gonna get my delivery of 5 door hopefully on 9th June. Thank you!
It's a good vehicle.. I nearly bought it in 2022 but then Jimny was announced. My only issue with the previous model was of ground clearance from the front and I wanted a solid front diff. I like small and light weight 4x4 but Gurkha is an exception ( far better than THAR). Planning to add this beast next year in my stable after reviews from genuine people 😉😉😉.
This is by far one of the most detailed informative reviews I’ve ever had the pleasure of seeing thanks a ton for doing this and keep up the good work 🙏
Please consider our suggestions for the next face-lift, if any: 1. Middle and rear seats should have been tumble-down/foldable/adjustable (for sleeping and luggage). 2. ‘F’ logo of force on the front grill, and Gurkha badging elsewhere in a suitable place. 3. Day-time running lights could be a little classier. 4. A better infotainment screen with Apple Car Play/Android Auto/Built-in Map etc. 5. Steering mount phone and infotainment controls. 6. Although alloys have been upsized, the previous alloys (though smaller in size) were more appealing. Please bring the same design for the upsized wheels. 7. Petrol Engine. 8. One more gear for high-way cruising. There were many people like me who wanted to buy one but disappointed after seeing it brought in a hurry. I went to Ladakh last year, all the way from Kerala, in my Gypsy. I thought of buying the 5 door Gurkha for my second trip. Now I am waiting to see if any face-lift/upgradation comes in.
Wonderful Review 😄. Completely authentic and genuine because it is reviewed by a 2021 Gurkha Owner 😘. Recently I had a test drive of 3-Door Gurkha BS6. I can completely relate to what you have said about the steering and the clutch. Clutch is soft and steering is buttery smooth. I can say this because few weeks ago I also test drove Bolero Neo that comes with similar power-assisted hydraulic steering and I found its steering bit hard. But on the contrary @ 19:20 I found the gear shifting bit notchy, though in your video it seems smooth and I'm happy to see it. Also another flaw I noticed is that gear shifter is bit short, with armrest in use, I needed to put my ankle down to hold the gear knob for shifting. Rest all it was a fantastic experience. 🤗😘
Finally a sensible, practical review. Almost everybody is thrashing the 5 door Gurkha for it's rear seat comfort. I too test drove one recently and sat in the middle seat with driver seat at my position - I found it comfortable. Also a thorough in depth review of minor changes, which nobody else bothered to do so. Thank you sir for such an awesome review. A genuine review. This is now in my list - for my next car. Happy riding, God speed 👍
Minor changes they need to do, change the grill to original, the one used in expo, Introduce silver n metallic grey colours. Choice of seating arrangement in 5 door. Introduced thoughtful accessories ( take ideas from defender)
Force should swap the bench seats and last row captain seats. One can go in last row through the middle row captain seats. The last bench seats then should be placed all the way behind for more knee room in second and third row. The last row bench should be foldable in case of less passengers and you want to keep luggage there. If all seats are occupied you can use roof rack for luggage. That way it will be more practical if Force wants to sell it as lifestyle plus family vehicle
Manuj, you have done a great favour to everybody including all so called Sports Journalist about how to do an unbiased automotive review👏. One can make out the difference between passion and paid reviews😁 Very well done. You have used all over correct references to explain issues and resolutions in 6.1 vs 6.2 FG. CONGRAT👌👋👍 255/65R18 is broader and therefore wider body, which has pro and cons, also thinner profile (will need a higher profile change😂). Power at wheel of 140HP vs 115HP (withDT) running 18in vs 16in is maybe 20%... perhaps not more (fuel average?). Yes, as you said, switching from 3D to 5D makes so much sense for space, stability on cruising comfort. My 3 door with DT and 245/75R16 stands as tall and looks leaner (width). Diff box is lower vs LCA in 6.2 and will need to be covered. I measured both my and 6.2 Gurkha. LCA in 2024 is better designed and shows about 15mm more lift than ours with LiftKit. However, our front Diff box covered with Prad plate is as high as 2024 model. Comfort wise, 5D is a great vehicle. All new owners will soon be proudly driving this beast. FM needs here to be complimented that they have looked into all the feedbacks from Users and implemented in new version. Hats off to Users like you ❤
Thank you so much Ajay ji. 🙏🙏🙂🙂 The 6.2 us indeed a very honest attempt by FM to rectify the issues faced in the 6.1 and they deserve praise for that. Thank you so much for your kind words. 🙏🙏 It is so heartening when an automobile company listenes to its customers feedback, setting any ego aside and implements the changes. The 3 door users of 6.1 should only upgrade to 5 door of 6.2. Most issues have been almost fixed by 6.1 users by using lift kit, dieseltronic etc.
This is what I call a review 👍👍👍..Never trust Chapri RUclipsrs and auto journalists..I own a 2018 gypsy and bought Jimny in June 2023, already done more than 25000 kms incl offroad and I love the Jimny .
Quite a detailed explanation on the changes. Really appreciate you getting under the vehicle to explain all the changes /improvements made. Just curious to know if the upgrade in power has come at the cost of crawling ability of the vehicle. I don't think you drove it off road but just curious to know if you noticed it. Do the newer mirrors offer better view and do they create a blindspot?
Thank you! 🙂 I did infact use 4L and use the crawl feature though its not a part of rhe video. Works very well. The new wing mirrors are good too. No blind spots.
With some modifications to the mounts it is possible to make changes to middle row seat to make it sliding and reclining. The 3rd row Captain seats are held by 4 bolts and can be removed and installed back anytime. The general consensus among the Gurkha owners including me is that there should be 2 captain seats in middle (with slide and recline) and fold & tumble 3rd row bench seat.
7:34 quite of few owners faced the issue of engine oil seeping out of the filler cap, including me. I have changed the cap multiple times but still face the issue. Oil starts seeping out when the timing chain rotates at high speed. With this arrangement, this issue will get eliminated for sure. Thanks for putting out this video.
Since you had very beautiful designed and developed your own Gurkha I will like to suggest you few more accessories. 1 in Mercedes G Wagon there an rubber strip that runs from both the sides from start to the end those strips on Gurkha will make it more premium like G wagon. 2 on the ineos grenade bonnet there is a plate stating powered by BMW similar plate of similar size and location can be put on the Gurkha bonnet stating powered by Mercedes-Benz. 3 painting the brake calipers and rear brake drum in red colour. 4) writing force in red colour on the front grill corner in very small letter
Gurkha has potential to be Indian Ineos Grenadier and compete in international markets. Great product at great price. It is great product even at 25 lac. I wish they make another version at higher price , with better credentials aiming at Australia n South Africa
If some quality issues have been solved then it is a great vehicle for Africa. Not everyone can afford a Land Cruiser. Most western countries have become so Anti-Diesel that it makes no sense even trying. Besides that the Gurkha i a niche product with small quantities being produced which service the Indian market. Also owing to its design and Mercedes derived engine there may even be some agreements in place that prevent its export.
Please make video on mileage in city and Highways in 4x2 mode (both Power mode and Economic) And diesel consumption per hour on total off roads. Really very informative video.
For that i will need the new Gurkha for atleast 3 days to a week. I don't think Force will give me a car for testing as i am not an Auto Journalist and subscriber count is also low.
@@IndianOverlander Try asking. Because till date nobody has made the video on mileage in city. And I guess the 5 door is not going to give more than 8 Km per litre in city and 10 km per litre on highway.
i don't understand what will harm FORCE Motors to put steering mounted controls and redesign Gurkha steering wheel to make it standout from their own products ? This isn't commercial Traveller right ? + I would say removing middle row seat and putting 2 Force captain seats and make it best 6 seater Off Roader
I agree with you! I will be making a video about things i did not like. Plan to talk about the seating arrangement and steering size. In previous videos of mine also i had spoken about the steering being a bit too oversized. Was hoping FM would have changed in the 2024 Gurkha.
Firstly the Gurkha as a breed is meant for traversing off-roads where prime concern of driver is comfortably enjoying the rough terrain to the best of machine's ability. "Gurkha is never meant to be a parallel of compass or scorpio-n or safari/harrier or thar or jimny". Gurkha owners never care for the bells and whistles, and half of the people buying the new Gurkha would be those who have previously owned a Gurkha or being in close acquaintance to a Gurkha owner. Seating arrangement of new Gurkha 5D is aimed at family segment where ladies can sit comfortably with the toddlers in middle row, flat bench seats help kids sleep well with their head on mothers lap and body straight on long seat. If captain seats are placed on middle row it would create more difficultly for passengers to enter the flat bench 3rd row seat, and every time the middle row passenger would have to alight, fold up seat and make way.
@@SushilKPingua bhai jaan here are my points as per your views : 1: You say Gurkha is meant for traversing off-roads where driver enjoys bla bla bla .... Its all about ease of controls while driving , i kept Gypsy for 9 years and travelled to whichever place you can imagine, so i know what Real Off roaders wish for some basic add on facilities (as per modern standards) this isn't 1980's time. Taking your calls without taking hands off your steering wheel , changing tracks , navigation commands.... everything helps with help of just 4 buttons.... if you are paying 20 lakhs for a vehicle... i won't digest that these basic things are kept off by company coz price isn't 8-9 lakhs right? 2) My other concern was look of steering wheel , this isn't distinguishing a personal vehicle owner from a Tempo Traveller driver . If i am willing to pay 20+ for my personal vehicle , at least give it uniqueness . Bolero Pickup (Commercial) and Bolero-Neo, Thar , Scorpio-N ( all personal segments) have different steering wheel. I hope you get my point here. 3) I agree at extent why middle seat is 3 seater mainly to utilize it but do families travelling with toddlers go to off roading with toddler inside sleeping ? Like it's not going well lol . When i am driving the vehicle i would require minimum effort and focus on 3 extra things ( calls , music , navigation ) and main attention and focus on driving with pleasure... Now no way i mean to say Gurkha is bad vehicle. I loved the 5 door version as it improved every area that 2021 version needed improvement. My points are on the overall 20 lakh segment vehicle because nowadays even if i am offroad lover and go with Gurkha 5 door , trust me i won't be going offroading every weekend but majority of time i am cruising in city or highways , all these bells and whistles make it more "complete" + steering mount controls would hardly cost 10k rupees not more for company . Things i loved in Gurkha , New instrument cluster , finally i a refreshing thing to see after Bare Bones 90's meters. Happy Motoring
@@IndianOverlander Absolutely loved your content with 3 door , the shops you showed for additional damping.... i referred it to my friend to get his Jimny done. I had Gypsy for 9 years and sold it recently , was hoping big from Gurkha 5 door and it's great vehicle to be honest . But as a buyer i would wait for Thar 5 door so i can have a proper comparison and decision to purchase. As family is of 4 members only , the 4 door Gurkha is always great considering space it offers , that's why i suggested Force can maybe launch 6 seat version (all captain seats) but that was just my thought to the sales person at Force Motors....i went to see it in person on Saturday and test drove it , every point about drivability is spot on. Loved the fact we can cruise on this as i am 2.5 hours away from mountains. But then i thought let's wait for Thar Armada first.
@hook_codm_ you can expect a very refined and polished 5 door Thar from Mahindra. It will be a well sorted product. Their budgets and sales figures are something else altogther. For me personally i'd still go for the Gurkha though. Just something about it.. 🙂🙏
Thanks for reading our comments and investing your time in this video. I really appreciate that you have shared such valuable feedback with us and let us know about the major differences between them. ❤❤❤❤❤
Most welcome ! This video was about my initial impressions of the Gurkha in the 1 to 2 hours i had with it. If i can get it for an extended time i would make a more detailed and indepth video. 🙏🙂
@@IndianOverlander Detailed video will be more helpful to finalize the buying (on 22/12/2024) process and help to convince the family members with their choice. Also help to explain the advantages of Gurkha v/s other. Will wait for that video for sure by you. Thank you 🙏👍
Genuine review!! Need such reviews about the pros & cons from the actual seasoned owners of the old model rather than seeing the reviews of all Cargurus in the market who give their reviews of any manufacturer & model launched in the market which they never owned.
I loved your in depth analysis of the 5 door Gurkha ! I can have only one vehicle in my garage ! Am totally put off by the lack of creature comforts in this !! This upgrade was a total engineering upgrade ! Will it right to assume that the next one will be having some more creature comforts !!
Glad it was helpful! 🙂🙏 what creature comforts exactly? This has smooth power steering, all 4 power windows, digital instrument display, electrically operated ORVM's, powerful AC with dedicated blower for rear seats, LED headlights, good noise damping, electronic 4x4 shift knob, all 5 doors central lock with remote key, follow me home healdights, front and rear roof lamp, 4x2,4x4 High and Low Range selectable transfer case and manually operated front and rear locking differentials, LED (G Wagen style) fender mounted indicators, 9 inch android auto music system with rear view camera, hydraulically assisted super light clutch, hill descent control at 16.75 lacs ex showroom for 3 door. Aur kya chahiye bhai? Please sunroof na kehna 🙂🙏
This is what review of Gurkha should have been , while rest other reviewers. Sadly was not in the case. Excellent review. No one even highlighted the fenders were different in new Gurkha, and many other highlighted differences in ur vlog. You covered all the doubts Sir . Thanks a ton for this great review
Thank you very much again for all your kind help and support .from Ma and me .sir I don’t use any other social platform than what’s up my apologies.for the same very kind of you to take all the trouble and help.last year had a bad experience with Mumbai force office berars rude behaviour regarding the same query I was amazed at the attitude towards a customer.as It’s Ma only wish given her age I was in dilemma .shall await your review on 3 door and advice to make a purchase🙏🙏
This video is 0:14 very informative about 5 door Gurkha . Impressive upgrades have been made .Kudos to Force motors and to you. I wish force launches this model in Canada /North America with larger engine.
Do take a few test drives before finalising the Gurkha or any vehicle, especially with Family to see the suitability for everyone. Buying a car is a big decision! 🙏❤️
@@IndianOverlander we have done the same. Although we were able to take the test drive of 4 seater Gurkha, because 7 seater was not available. The 3 door impressed me so much, and we got to sit in the 5 door, my family was also satisfied.
Impressive review. By chance I got to watch this video n didn't skip for a second after that... amazing. You should do reviews of other well known SUVs (in Indian market) in similar fashion, I mean focussing on mechanicals. Most reviewers do analysis on overall exteriors, interiors, but not on mechanicals which is most important aspect of a vehicle, considering the fact that average Indian won't buy two vehicles - one for regular use n one for long rides... off-roading, for hills, snow, sand etc. Major reason why ppl take their popular SUVs on mountains... for off-roading n get stuck in the middle of nowhere. Here sound n sturdy mechanicals play a very crucial role apart from skills of the person behind steering wheel.
Thanks Manuj sir for the review! A few Qs, appreciate if you can advise on: 1) I want to pick 3-door. Wondering why are they not giving new 3 door for test drive? I too went for test drive and found only 5 door available for test drive. Something to be doubtful bout? 2) You drove 5-door and mentioned you felt its better than your current 3-door. When I took test drive of 5-door they said 3 door would feel much more powerful coz 5 door is 300 kg more than 3 door. Sound logical? 3) 255/65/R18 is what the new Gurkha is coming with. With bigger fenders the tyres are inside, whereas i would want it to stick out a little. Two questions: - Would the dealer change 255 to 265/275 at whatever cost? Or should I rather go for old Gurkha's fenders?
The 3 door is available for test drives in Delhi NCR. Maybe your dealer doesn't have the 3 door yet for test drives. The 3 door being lighter will feel more powerful and quicker than the 5 door for sure. You can go for wider tyres or slightly offset rims if you want the tyres to stick out a bit. Two issues that you will face if the tyres stick out are that the police may fine you and your vehicle will get dirty even after a short drive as tyres will kick up dust mud water etc onto the body. I don't think the dealership will provide wider tyres. It is better you go to a tyre dealer and have it done but i do not recommend going over 265 size as anything bigger will cause other issues.
@@RakeshSinghDOTme no they do not provide a defogger in the rear. A desi jugaad to prevent Fog build is Shaving cream! Just put a thin layer to the inside of your windshield, and then wipe it off with a clean cloth. Your windows should stay fog-free for several weeks.
I can tell you that the ground clearance at the lower arms is up from 190 mm to 233 mm which is quite significant. Yes the 5 door ahould have had better seating options and recline and slide in the middle row.
Thank you so much for the detailed review of the new 5 door Gurkha. Isn't it better if the positions of the second and third row seats are exchanged? Is it possible?
Yes. Middle row captain seats with slide and recline and last row tumble folding bench is a better option. Can be done aftermarket i am sure. But FM should have gone with this setup.
How much is the power difference between Eco mode and Power mode and at what bhp setup each would run at? Does it have Auto start stop feature Ignition is key or button?
Much awaited review! You seem convinced to upgrade your 3 door to the 5 door one, are you gonna do it?😄 would be nice to see the tasteful mods done afterwards 😄
Big thanks Manuj Sir for your Amazingly detailed review and comparison as always.❤ Since now you have given a go ahead on positives I'm sure I'll not hesitate to book my new version.
Thank you so much for such an excellent review. Ppl focus only on interior or exterior. But your depth of knowledge about the nuances of the car were simply awesome. What’s your take on making this a 6 seater with captain seats in middle row too ?
Any improvement in the articulation ??? That was the 2nd biggest problem after GC in the earlier versions In terms of absolute package does this Gurkha make better sense over a type 1 Mitsubishi Pajero ?
Hi, quite an informative video - I have used the 2.6 CrDE Scorpio and the Innova for many years - will the Gurkha be as quick as the Scorpio? Also, given the height, will it be difficult for my elderly parents to get in. The other alternative at a similar price point (~3 lacs) is the Scorpio N 4*4 automatic - which one would you recommend? My usage will be primarily in Nashik and Mumbai, with occasional offroad visits to Konkan.
Scorpio N is far more refined but also far more expensive. If they can get into Scorpio N they will be able to get into Gurkha. Scorpio N will offer more comfort and refinement ofcourse with some decent offroading capabilities also.
Sir, thank you very much. Very informative. Please advise if rear middle seats could be customizable to split seat and foldable like in Tata Safari or Harrier..or will the seats of Safari or Harrier could fit in. Thanks
Any idea if there is a manual regen button for this Gurkha. I had seen one but could not get a definite answer. Also how will the cold start situation be in your honest opinion please. I have loved the TD and am very impressed with it. Thank you
Yes the 24 Gurkha has a manual regeneration button also. The 2021-2023 Gurkha had no cold start issues but thats because of the LNT system that doesn't require adblue. The SCR system in the 24 Gurkha does use Adblu and adblu dosing issues may come up in freezing conditions. Adblu is basically a mixture of Urea and water. In sub zero temperatures water will freeze or atleast the adblue viscosity will change. It depends now on how well FM has managed to insulate the Adblue storage tank and delivery mechanism to prevent this condition. We will really only know when we test it ourselves.
I own a Maruti Gypsy 1.3 king, which is in good condition, 4×4 gears working. I use it weekends for fun in our farm and rainy season offroading. After watching your video, I am tempted to buy Gurkha 2024 model. Sir please give your advice, will Gurkha be more Fun than maruti Gypsy ? 🙏
A gurkha will be a more practical addition that you could use daily and not only on weekends. Fun factor of 1.3 King is difficult to compare as the Gurkha is fun as well as practical. That said the Gypsy is a light vehicle that can be thrown about and the same isn't true for the Gurkha.
Is the same specs, power and all that you mentioned, are available in new 3 door Gurkha? Because somehow the 3 door Gurkha fascinates me more. And is Gurkha a good car/suv for someone buying a car for the first time? Regards, Rahul
Yes same specs and power are in 3 door Gurkha also. Gurkha owner can be first time car owners also but some mechanical knowledge is required. It is not like a Brezza or Creta. 3 door Gurkha is what i have driven since 2021and is great looking and a lot of fun but the 5 door Gurkha is more practical for family use. Easy to get in and out and also if you remove last row captain seats then lots of luggage space as well.
wonderful review and comparison, i have one question:- is any kit available to install or addon - to make automatic drive ?? please recommend or advice. appreciated your support Regards
It will be given as standard. That is my understanding. It transported without rear tow hook and spare wheel. Something to do with Sub 4 meter SUV taxation.
I myself have not been able to take too many trips due to various responsibilities. Hope to be able too soon. Are you planning on the 5 door or 3 door?
5 force Gorkha ka bahut hi important Jankari Diya aapane next review video 3.force Gurkha aur upcoming Gurkha pickup truck ka Jankari Kab Tak market Mein aaega
Very nice review. I feel middle row seat need improvement with little more leg space. Cruise Control is also required. What tyres are you using in your Gurkha?
Hi. I have a question regarding dieseltronic. is there any impact on emission after fitting this? How frequently regeneration has to be done after fitting dieseltronics?
I have not done manual regeneration in my Gurkha ever. Either before or after Dieseltronic fiment. No imoact on emissions noticed and the vehicle passed the Pollution Test.
Absolutely right. 100% right. I tested the 3 door version today. - The engine is lazy. Specially when the power mode is off. - The whole car vibrates and turns super noisy when you accelerate. - I could feel a strange vibration on the brake pedal. Besides, bad uninspiring braking. - The gear stick with its long throws is placed so badly that it almost touches the charging socket (even with a tiny cable plugged in). Besides, I had to stretch to change gears. Silly design. - Door rubber was hanging off the frame. For a car that showed only 2000 kms on the odometer. Poor quality and something that has been seen so often on the Gurkha. - No one is talking about mileage. Even the dealer’s staff gave me false figures. Sorry, but I am not convinced by these reviews and I am not going for a Gurkha. I waited for 2 years to see if Force would make this a city car too, but they couldn’t. I don’t live in the hills and I currently have a booking for a Scorpio N Z4 4x4. I will proceed with that.
@@SureshR-tx6ec the Scorpio N is a far more refined product than the Gurkha. I've always maintained that. Sorry to hear about your bad experience. Which dealership was this?
Sir.. i have a Tata car & one of the benefits of owning a TATA or Mahindra today is that if you buy the insurance from any Tata or Mahindra dealer or service centre, you’ll get cash less insurance claims having no qus asked! I’ve my car repaired couple of times & this benefit came out to be saviour!! The cost of repair was 2.5 lacs, I paid only ₹2500. Does force motors has such service benefits? Or any thing else as such. Your honest answer is going to be the plinth of my buying decision. While taking test drive of 5 door, I’ve asked the service adviser. He kind of avoided my question.
Insurance is a tricky issue. Depends on dealer to dealer. Where are you based? You can ask your dealer/ sales advisor about this point. To my knowledge all you need to do is ask which insurance companies cashless service the dealer accepts and then get a quote yourself from that company itself. You can even go through the dealer for getting the insurance for peace of mind.
Wonderful review. Thanks a lot. Just a question though. As potrayed by many reviews earlier, is getting in and out of the driver's seat difficult for a tall person like does the steering wheel rubs against your thighs and stuff while driving ?
Not while driving but the oversized steering wheel does cause issues while entering sometimes. I have mine set at its highest position and pulled up closest to driver. That frees up maximum space and does not interfere with my thighs.
Respected Sir ,thank you for a wonderful technical review my 83 year old mother say so with me,she has be waiting for the car from past one year, sir can you please advice force motors drive by road and deliver ,does it impact wear and tear as the driver may use rash methods to get to delarship quickly.wishing you best of best thank you
I may be wrong but the Gurkha is fitted with speed governors before delivery to prevent rash driving from delivery drivers. It may be difficult for your 83 year old mother from getting in and out of the Gurkha. 🙂🙏
It’s equipped with shift-on-the-fly 4x4 with low range, diff locks, and has satisfactory all-round visibilitY
Thank you..yes its a vehicle one can keep for a long time. As long as not in NCR.
Exactly.. what I have heard from most of Thar or other 4x4 owners is the looks .. It looks like a Trax especially from side and rear view

@@IndianOverlander heheheeh…
It's a good vehicle.. I nearly bought it in 2022 but then Jimny was announced. My only issue with the previous model was of ground clearance from the front and I wanted a solid front diff. I like small and light weight 4x4 but Gurkha is an exception ( far better than THAR). Planning to add this beast next year in my stable after reviews from genuine people 😉😉😉.
This is by far one of the most detailed informative reviews I’ve ever had the pleasure of seeing thanks a ton for doing this and keep up the good work 🙏
Thank you 🙏🙂
Please consider our suggestions for the next face-lift, if any:
Great suggestions!! 👍

Minor changes they need to do, change the grill to original, the one used in expo,
Introduce silver n metallic grey colours.
Choice of seating arrangement in 5 door.
Introduced thoughtful accessories ( take ideas from defender)
Many people will alter the middle and rear seats. Its not too uncomfortable but can be better.

One can make out the difference between passion and paid reviews😁
Very well done. You have used all over correct references to explain issues and resolutions in 6.1 vs 6.2 FG. CONGRAT👌👋👍
255/65R18 is broader and therefore wider body, which has pro and cons, also thinner profile (will need a higher profile change😂).

Can we replace the second row seats with Fully foldable rear bench seat and remove the third row seats.(Like XUV 500). Your thoughts please
@@IndianOverlander There’s also a discussion about the possibility of replacing the second row seats with a fully foldable rear bench seat
Very nicely explained sir.. No bakwaas talks like many others. Thank you for the efforts

I had the issue too but after changing the cap to a Black one it seemed to have gone away now. Though il check again.
Thanks for watching! 🙏🙂

For the price nothing like this is available world wide!
@MIRZABENIPAL If this Gurkha 5D was a Toyota product it would over INR Rs.45 Lakhs.
Please make video on mileage in city and Highways in 4x2 mode (both Power mode and Economic)
And diesel consumption per hour on total off roads.
+
I would say removing middle row seat and putting 2 Force captain seats and make it best 6 seater Off Roader
@@SushilKPingua bhai jaan here are my points as per your views :
1: You say Gurkha is meant for traversing off-roads where driver enjoys bla bla bla ....

Thank you 🙏🙂
Bro i would like to buy the new 5 door.. most of my trips are in Highways. Is there any option to add cruise control to the new 5 door version..??
Nahi bhai.. no option of cruise control. Right foot will have to do the job 🙂
Thanks Manuj sir for the review! A few Qs, appreciate if you can advise on:
1) I want to pick 3-door.
Two questions:
- Would the dealer change 255 to 265/275 at whatever cost?
Thanks for the advise Sirji!
Also, I don't think they're providing defogger, are they? If not, what's the solution? Any after market option?
@@RakeshSinghDOTme no they do not provide a defogger in the rear. A desi jugaad to prevent Fog build is Shaving cream! Just put a thin layer to the inside of your windshield, and then wipe it off with a clean cloth. Your windows should stay fog-free for several weeks.

Any improvement in the articulation ??? That was the 2nd biggest problem after GC in the earlier versions
In terms of absolute package does this Gurkha make better sense over a type 1 Mitsubishi Pajero ?
Articulation will remain the same as long as the rear sway bar is attached.
Nothing makes sense over a Mitsubishi Pajero as long as you do not live in NCR.
For increasing articulation look into sway bar disconnects, i think toyorta 4runner etc disconnects can be used with some mods.

I have loved the TD and am very impressed with it.

I did a test drive for over an hour, the pick up seems very lazy and the whole body started vibrating whenever i tried to accelerate...

Can 275/65 R18 can be fitted in the 5-Door by replacing the stock 255/65 R18 ???? To increase the tyre width as well the aspect ratio.....
The space is there but will only know once the tyre is fitted to the vehicle. It should fit i feel but will need to be checked at a tyre shop.
Bhai emgine can support 33" tyres without gearing change.
Space is always a problem in any car, you will need to cut fenders etc
very true and accurate vlog for force gurkha good job sir, because all other vlogng like it should behave like AMG
Thank you! 🙏🙂
@@IndianOverlander Thanks a lot sir.
