I like what you guys did here. You took a simple concept and made a solid little movie with it.

I got a double reward on this one. Saw an awesome short and learn about a new (to me) legend.
    Thanks.

Being a filmmaker myself, I can see what you guys were going for. I didn't think this was particularly scary, but I applaud your sense of pace with such minimal coverage. It really helped to elevate some of the tension towards the end.

These are the types of horror films I WISH could be adapted into longer films. The sheer genius of utilizing the old pagan Behrta/Pechta myth is absolutely brilliant. I could feel my heart racing in fear even as I imagines Elizabeth must have been when Behrta came to her door, and the trepidation with which she took the silver coin felt so real. sitting here in mid-winter, right before Christmas, I thoroughly enjoyed this film. thank you for creating such an entertaining piece of media art!

I've replied this to a couple comments, but if you care, there's a 2015 Horror movie called The Blackcoat's Daughter. This very lightly reminded me of it a bit.

It made terrifying sense once i read the explanation. Awesome. Chilling to the bones that too in such a short time. Big budget so called horror movies should take a lesson from these films how 2 spook w.out thrills n frills...A class..👏👏👏

Watch it again at midnight with headphones during a full moon on the second Tuesday in October. That's how the artists intended it to be viewed.
Also, make sure you're wearing you onesie pajamas.

Not like he needed the money but it was his hobby! Coins 🪙 which I relate to him are 5p land literally in the weirdest places it’s him 💯 letting me know he’s still about! I sit my driving test in 2 weeks time something he always wanted me to do! We even had a bet on it! I LOST😂 He would be sooo proud! This brings it all back ❤😢

Old folktales of Perchta (Bertha in english) inspired this story. In Europe, Perchta is said to be able to shape shift between human form and animal form. During Christmas time, stories say Perchta wanders the countryside at night and if you’ve been good, she’d reward you with a silver coin (or something similar) and if you’ve been bad, she’d brutally kill you.
In our story, our main character wishes out loud that she “could see him again for Christmas” (referring to her dead boyfriend) while holding an old Perchta doll from their German grandmother. Perchta then pays our main character a visit disguised as her boyfriend. Once our main character is rewarded with a silver coin for being good, she notices her “boyfriend” is now vanished, and where he was once standing she sees two hoof prints. Perchta shape-shifted into animal form and disappeared into the snowy night.

@@DaveRyansMind You know, this short horror film just made me cry because of how very sad it is to lose someone you love on this Christmas night. The main character of Elizabeth had only wish to see her boyfriend again, and her wish is granted by the Perchta. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 God I swear, the whole thing and the ending itself just made me cry harder and I will never know what to do. I may never know what it was like to lose a person you love the very most in an accident. This short horror movie did not scare me, it only made me sad. Thanks for everything bro. You both made me cry and made my day.

Thanks again and please make sure to SUBSCRIBE and get those notifications on cause 2021 is gonna be a full suck fest filled with unsatisfying endings, confusing plot lines, and overall shitty dialog. We are looking forward to it!
