I’ll be heading to Bozeman this summer, curious what area on the Madison did you fish the braids? That looked so nice, bring a lil 3 weight in there!!! Woo hoo

Yes, we fished the braids there south of Ennis. Also, there are some good walk and wade opportunities in the wilderness area too. Good luck and have a blast!

The Element is the wilderness area north or south of Ennis? Also do you remember which fish access site you started fishing at? So much river so little time

Mike Masciangelo Sorry, I don’t remember. It was a boat ramp that we work upstream from in the braids. I bet you will have decent luck anywhere in that area. The wilderness area is north. I believe it is called Bear Paws.
