Undertale Yellow: What If You Could Throw Away Your Shot? (Vengeance Route)

- Undertale Yellow is a great game, but one thing that annoyed me was the fact that Starlo brought fake bullets to a life-or-death duel. This animation aims to rectify that.
As you can imagine, this is probably far from perfect, since this is my first Undertale Yellow animation, but I tried to make it as canon compliant as possible. And that's apparently already too high a bar for most people...

Here's some extra lore for this alternate neutral route:
Starlo's family are still hunkered in the bunker. Starlo went to the Mail Station in the Oasis and ran into Ceroba on the way, stopping her from going to the Wild East. If you stay in your jail cell for five minutes, Martlet shows up to apprehend you, prompting Flowey to load your save for you. After entering the Steamworks, everything proceeds like a normal neutral route.
If you want, Starlo could go to the Mail Station next to his house instead so that a fight can happen, but I felt that it would take away the meaning of throwing the duel if you just got another chance five minutes later.
I was going to add a line about Starlo taking your weapon after he locked you up, but it didn't make sense from a gameplay perspective. However, if you want, you can assume Clover only has the Toy Gun for the rest of the game.
Also, yes, the title is a reference to Hamilton.

I like how clover actually has normal eyes afterwards which signifies that you are back on neutral.
That would suck, I just wanted to play fair the rules and failed, it would be better if Starlo waits for a rematch if you escape

Love how everyone is like "What if Starlo". Seems he is the fan favorite. Sure is for me. "I would like you to sell a gun to this child".
In a recent "Sexyman" poll for Undertale, Deltarune and Undertale Yellow characters, Starlo came 2nd - yes, 2nd - losing only to Sans. Not even Spamton beat Starlo. So yeah, Star's pretty popular.
it seems like starlo turned out more popular than the devs expected!
Also let's all be honest, Starlo got absolutely robbed in the vengeance route, he deserves something

Great animation! Here are some differences I'm thinking could be in this neutral route:
- Dina would say something like "Well I'm glad ya didn't shoot Star. Don't know why ya started, don't know why you stopped, but you still ain't welcome here. Get out of my salloon."
- Waiting in the jail cell will eventually have the Royal Guards appear, but the second they do, Flowey reloads to your previous save.
- The Sunnyside Farm's evacuated like in geno, but checking most objects prompts the same dialogue as in neutral.
There'd only be two changes.
- Checking the cellar leads to this dialogue "You think you can barely hear voices coming from the cellar. You should go."
- Checking the photo of Starlo and Ceroba would read "It's a photo of the sheriff and someone you don't know."
Steamworks onwards is the same as neutral.

Well I was hoping for more like Clover kneeling in pain. Because in a gunfight, you often aim for where it won't kill your opponent in an instant.

This would be a favourite for speedrunners. Back on neutral, no Ceroba or Starlo fight? Sign them the fuck up (I am not a speedrunner, so don't sign me up)
Or, if it were to be roped back into normal neutral, Starlo could stop you and try to re-apprehend you (or kill you because you're dangerous, tying back into him trying to kill you on neutral), leading to the normal Neutral Starlo fight
But grinding is pretty slow

@@geckoanims there should be a mod that makes starlo give you the hat and the revolver and then start the feisty four battle almost instantly
Maybe the Feisty Five will try to stop you together? (harder battle than Starlo and the Feisty Four separately as we have in neutral/pacifist)
One thing i’m pretty impressed by is the fact that you recreated the upper text box’s text being wrong when compared to undertale

So, when you ring the bell, It would get Starlo’s attention, Which you can either, shoot him down, or have another totally fair… Dual. This will trigger the Ceroba boss fight right after, obviously

i mean, he'd probably just die to asgore.
also the whole point was clover was so weak that no matter what he did, he'd either die or give up. unless he did genocide, hes no frisk.
But that was False pacifist Clover, Neutral Clover may be stronger and not so Guilt Stricken.
@@user-kp4lu6gy4iHe died to asgore in flawed pacifist, where he was guilt stricken and was low level, in neutral he doesn't have much reason to have guilt considering he's just continuing his mission to save the 5 souls. Plus he's not weak there.

Idea: what if you could go to asgore on the neutral route?
Can you do a ‘What If Clover fought Asgore on a Neutral/Vengeance Route’?
Neutral, I feel like Clover could actually fight Asgore due to the fact that they aren't a pacifist like they are in the Pacifist route. It could be actually possible to defeat Asgore with level 12.
In Genocide, Asgore would realize how strong Clover is, and run to the barrier to absorb the 5 human souls in order to fight them. Here, I feel like Asgore would actually win this fight, as absorbing even one soul makes a monster greatly powerful. But five? It's Asgover.
The fake shot is not vengeance route, the genocide keep going the kill starlo
