Thank you for the review. I have so much fun with this kit. Solid build, get all the basic right - strong joint, reasonable runner arrangement. Water decal is a delight, come off almost instantly in water yet very strong. A 10 out of 10 kit. If there is any suggestion I can make, please print the instructions less glossy. It reflects too much light during build. And the foil sticker is too paper like and come off very easily.
I agree! The glossy hard paper for the instructions is a pretty initial look, but poor user experience. Could t agree with you more about the runner arrangement! Id say they also need to improve their gage location. Some gates are very poorly placed. Thank you for the comment!
Nice!! I have recently completed mine too, looks fabulous, and I also added the water slide decals, I have uploaded a video on my channel too. The In Era+ Thunderbolt looks really good, and it is worth adding one to your collections.
I really like the kits from In Era this one in specific is my favorite now. I enjoy it the build and it is great to customize now waiting for the new head modify. Nice review. Cheers
thank you! the are indeed quite awesome. i heard a lot of good feedback about the ruling, but never got to have one. looking forward to see what they come up with next.
Hi. I always take apart and top coat the pieces individually. I have never used a portable airbrush. If you’re worried about not having a compressor - you can consider air cans from Mr hobby and respective brushes. But for top coating alone, you can simply buy spray cans. I personally use Mr hobby and Mr premium top coats. They last a while and do a good job. Just be careful with the layer thickness, spray proximity, and weather conditions.
weekend to weekend, one week. considering i top-coated the non-white parts. so the kit had to be completely disassembled after the initial snap build. respond to edit: its called 'runner in dock' - great tower-style organizer.
I typically use Tamiya panel liner. Black on colored parts (reds, blue, etc), red on yellows, and grey or dark grey on white parts. I use very little of it on bare plastic. I clean up with Tamiya x20. I used Mr premium flat top coat for non-white parts of this kit and I did not top coat white parts at all. The white plastic on this kit is of high quality and looks good even without top coat. I also use Mr mark setter for water decals and they stick well.
Depends on the result you want to achieve. Grey is standard choice. Sometime dark grey or black work better if you want higher contrast. Grey on white creates a sense of shadow while dark grey or black almost make it look like there part separation.
Thank you! Not really. I was quite surprised by how tight the fit on all parts was, so be careful if you plan on taking it apart after the assembly. It can hurt the kit. And maybe the placement of some gates could be better, but you can deal with those using files and sandpaper. Overall, highly recommend it.

Do you put coating to protect the decals?
Hi! On this kit I used Mr premium flat on all non-white armor parts.
Hello do you top coat by part or per piece??
Is it ok use a portable mini airbrush to top coat?

Nice build,is there any problem with this kit?
