The hardcore know, if Santiago didn’t have to deal with such career threatening injuries, he’d maybe have challenged for a belt. He was ranked #7 before all those injuries happened to him back in 2017

      It's common sense.

James wasn't being disrespectful. I thought Alex was slightly in the lead, but had just one moment of careless lack of attention to defence, and his face changed shape with a very hard hit. That's fighting. At first, I thought the stoppage was too quick, but on close-up replay you could see that his lights were out. Good rescue by the ref. Good even contest.

Ponzinibbio is good no doubt but Morono was much better. Morono is a much better fighter. Better skilled to say the least. Losing to Ponzi is one of those bitter pills fighters are force fed. Anyone can and does get caught but Morono failed three times in pouncing and finishing.
Ponzinibbio did not, and that’s how he won.
Morono a much faster fighter should’ve done what fighters are trained to do on the lowest level, and that’s to finish them.
Morono handed the win over by not following these basics , causing fighters like Ponz to excel into deep waters where they get eaten alive.
The big guys are too much for him unfortunately and the better fighters are left in the shallows to get scraps afterwards.
