OBSESSED!: The Signature Riffs of "Disaster!"

- It's common knowledge that Seth Rudetsky approves of performers who can take well-known tunes and make them their own. In his (he co-wrote it with Jack Plotnick and plays disaster expert Dr. Ted Scheider) Off-Broadway show "Disaster! A '70s Disaster Movie Musical," Seth encouraged the performers to do just that. Here, cast members Haven Burton, Matt Farcher, Charity Dawson and Saum Eskandani (along with a top secret special guest) perform some of the productions' 1970s hits - with and without their signature riffs included.

+Kathy Pierre I was JUST gonna say that!! "It's meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" isn't on the cast recording. I think it started as just dialogue. And Eden Espinoza did some amazing 'Go Good Deed' "Fiyeroo-ooh-ooh-ooooh" riffs!

Charity Dawson is in Waitress understudying Keala Settle and Haven Burton is working on a musical with Jerry Mitchell. Max Crumm is in it. I don't know what happened with the other guys.
This is the original off-broadway cast. Sometimes if they move from off broadway to Broadway casting may change
With the exception of Charity's riff, those runs were relatively simple; and ALL of them are standard melismatic twists that have been around for decades - before any of these singers were even born. Nevertheless, the cast executed them very well.
TruthSerum101 can you enjoy the video without critiquing everything?
