They're definitely going to keep making these. People buy power banks all the time. Might as well make it a dual device.
Just for the six button layout I would have normally just picked this up, but the Anbernic RG-Arc D/S is launching soon and will have better buttons, a Sega style D-pad and more ergonomic overall.
And it turns out that D-pad is as good as people hoped

gameboy collectors hate this device. That means it probably works good. SNES looks glitchy, but there is life beyond Super Nintendo.
Same crap has powkiddy J6 ,x6 and all that... they need to step up their game for real...
Ok. So I saw this on AliExpress. So China is getting more and more creative! But this is the same software with the X6 (the one that looked like a gameboy and Anbernic rgb clone).

No d pad and the same operating system/file interface thats been these handheld X sytems for years X6,X9,X12 and many more have the exact same file system.These systems almost always max out at GBA,most SNES games are unplayable.I actually got lucky with a version/clone of the the X9 blue mars thats just labeled Gameplayer S9000A and it runs most SNES and NEOGEO games fine.
The display seems a bit lousy even for the price.
For $39 is O.K. I'll buy it. Good review and cool video Wicked!👉😃👈

Colors remind me of the powkiddy A13. Mine still works flawlessly. Never modded it.
the old aliexpress $32 powkiddy q90 with the custom firmware is better ( the weak point is if you use slow microsd card )

it will not charge the phone, for that use the a power bank, for 32 bucks (the old powkiddy q90 with the custom firmware) you get 30 emulators up to psx and a lot of old DOS game imports video player and music player and up to 6 hours of battery from the old reliable and solid BP-4L legacy nokia battery

I am hesitant to charge the phone on a battery pack cause I used one once and it messed up the percentage reading on my phone, it was no longer accurate.

Chinese handhelds look so cool on the design sometimes, but emulation is sooooooooooooooooooooooooo way backward, and they always use the same old emulators, Neogeo was captivating me ... untiul I see those white lines :(
Great review. Can it run CPS3 games? I mean, six button layout, if you're not playing Street Fighter with those buttons why even bother?

It's 20€ 25€ with second controller in Ali express. And yes, these are all the same cheap china copies... There is tons of similar pieces of plastic than this

This is nothing more than e-waste. For 39 bucks I add 10 more and I get to myself the R36S you reviewed 3 days ago that it's dozens of times more powerful than this crappage.
