Dear Anastasia, How lovely to see you and to hear about your knitting plans! Yes! I'm so happy to see that the skein that I dyed will become a beautiful shawl! Looking forward to seeing it, and it's a pattern I wanted to try too! But by the time I do, you'll probably have finished yours. I'm spinning my polwarth fibre as I'm watching you. You really will love spinning once you've learnt! Have a lovely day and hugs from New Zealand! Marina
Thank you dear Marina! It's already finished :))) I will show it in my next podcast. Ohhh I can't wait to be able to spin, definitely need some classes to learn though... Hope you had a lovely weekend! Hugs from Iceland xxx
I love your choices! I am currently doing Joji’s Venezia shawl which is also one skein and has a nice little lace border. I am loving it so far and will definitely be doing more of them. One skein projects are a nice way to use those favorite skeins, as you said!
Thank you for sharing your future knitting. I loved knitting Half and half wraps, I made two, with Linen Quill. You are going to love knitting with that yarn and wear it, it is a dream😍
@@freeyoursheep I have so many single skeins as I just bought all the pretties! I haven't knit myself sweaters as I am plus size, but then I thought, if you would knit a half and half wrap, why not a sweater! Do you have any tips for matching sleeve yarn to a faded body? Not sure how to have enough yarn to match the body. Thanks!
So many great projects, I can't wait to see how they all turn out! I have the lightweight hipster shawl in my queue too and it will likely be my next cast on. The pattern looks great so I'm really excited to knit it and hearing that you're going to knit a second one certainly fills me with confidence.
Love this content. We all need/enjoy shopping our stash. You gave me great ideas. Only one i am not interested in is the half and half wrap as I feel like it has been knitted and talked about to much. That is just me.
Ohh I totally understand! I have the same with some patterns that I find totally overhyped but that is very much my personal taste :D Hope you have something nice on your needles :)
Well I think Iceland just got higher on my list of places to visit! What beauty!! And you’ve got me thinking about my next knits! Honestly both the green and the yellow are gorgeous! I think the green would be my choice for the cardigan although they are both so lovely!!
What a fun podcast -- getting to see your knitting plans for your beautiful stash!! Thank you!!
