It's been a while but its back! It's back to stay! Who remembers the Minecraft Inspiration Series?! Don't forget that there is Keralis Plushie for sale! www.makeship.com/products/beach-time-keralis-plushie Don't forget to follow me over at Twitter twitter.com/WorldofKeralis or Instagram instagram.com/iamkeralis ♥
I have shamelessly taken inspiration for this series for years and love the idea that it's back! Beautiful house tour, nice to see Andy back and I will continue to shamelessly use these amazingly creative builders ideas. Thanks Keralis!
Long time lover of the inspiration series; I just recently was looking at all ur old post and reminiscing about old videos I watched and the times I would try to build similar things - would love see a permanent fixture of this say once every 2-3 weeks?
The music and the Keralis just.... I can't handle it. It brings back memories from so long ago. Summers spent building in Minecraft and listening to Keralis with his chill voice and relaxing soundtrack. I'm so tired, It's been awhile and I just wanna rest to this
Ooh! The memories! These two legends and their Minecraft Inspiration series was what inspired me to become an architect when I was still 12 years old... Now, 10 years later, I'm a third-year student in architecture with a promising career ahead of me. Spank you Keralis and Andy for giving me a future
I had to triple check when I saw this suggested. This guy was my favorite RUclipsr when I was like 9, a full decade ago. I loved the city build tutorials, and his username _Keralis1_ inspired mine.
So as someone who lives in Florida, super rich people do have houses like these. They’re usually on the beach and inter-coastal canal. Most of these people are super business owners, lawyers, and real estate moguls, and they don’t usually have huge families. It’s all status. Cuz we are living in a material world and she is a material girl.
OMG YES, this brings me back. I missed this so much. Just want to say Keralis I have watched you since the small modern house tutorials. Think that is 10-11 years ago
Usually when i get a random memory of a youtuber I used to watch ten years ago, I go to check their channel only to find that they either haven't uploaded in months or years, or that their channel has unfortunately lost it's viewership for whatever reason. I want you to know how big the smile was on my face when I put Keralis in the search bar just now.
Hi, Keralis I found your channel through (I don't know if this is the correct spelling, English is not my first language) this series, years ago, and I missed this videos so much, so happy you're back with it. Keep up the good work and amazing videos. Anxious to see what the "Mega Base" you and X built in the last Hermitcraft episode will turn out to be.
Aaahhhh this takes me back!!! I used to spend so much time on the WoK creative server just exploring everyone’s builds. This is such a nostalgia trip!!
2:36 I actually know what that is. The PWD symbol is for when the trapdoor is powered by redstone. You can use Worldedit to place down a powered trapdoor on its own, which is probably how he made those fantastic doors.
At the comment of "no winter in Minecraft", can you imagine if Minecraft actually did have seasons? Some sort of cycle that progresses a bit (maybe in partial increments so that there are 3 or 4 steps within each season?) once every however many in-game days. Each biome would have its own rules for how grass, leaves, and whatever else change color at each step through the full seasonal cycle. Whether or not rain / lightning storms / snow / dust storms (yeah, why not add that for the desert? could also tweak that biome to be able to have sand layers for variation in terrain similar to snow layers (and quicksand that's kinda like powdered snow, as well?)) or whatever else can happen in a biome could change depending on that seasonal step as well. Biomes that are currently known for snow / ice would be cold in all seasons, biomes that are currently known as warm climates would never experience snow, and anything temperate would go through both. (Although snow layers on the ground would need behavior tweaked so they can melt away when in temperate climates when it's spring / summer.) Another thought could be adding "leaf layers" as something that can happen near trees in certain biomes during fall. Maybe snow layers replace them in winter, kinda like the leaves are decaying to nothing under the cover. Anyway, things like that could wildly change how players perceive their worlds. Heck, imagine if they could go a step further and make weather localized instead of being in an on/off state for the whole world. Part of the shifting definitions of each biome throughout the seasons could also include the chance / frequency of weather, so you get for example no rain in the savannah except for one week out of each spring where it's almost guaranteed to happen daily. (I think that's what they get in real life, right?) Meanwhile, another biome might be getting rain once or twice a week all through spring and all through fall. I wonder if there's already a mod that does any of this. There probably is. It wouldn't be that surprising. (EDIT: Yep, there are a few of them out there.)
Your channel randomly popped back into my head. I remember watching this format back in the days. So much fun! I see you’ve returned to the series. Can’t wait to see more
Thank you for returning to the best series on yt!! Will the WOK textures be updated to 1.21? I remember being a kid and watching these videos, so nostalgic. This is what initiated my love for architecture! I love to see you and Andy touring again!
Thank you so much Keralis! This brings back so many memories and this makes me feel so happy. I remember watching tutorials and Inspiration Series back in 2012. Now I'm remembering a time instead of studying in my Junior year of high school in the library, I pulled up Inspiration Series to reminisce. Now being 23 years old this just feels so nostalgic and its beautiful!
This is literally one kf my favorite Minecraft series ever! I literally have not felt so inspired to play the game on so long and this video has relit the spark of creation in me. Please, please, please do more of these!
I cant express how timeless the inspiration series is for me. You can't go wrong with any of the episodes and it's the same classic thing after over a decade, appreciation of beautiful builds and Keralis touching something he shouldn't of haha.
Wait, what happened? Did I just travel back in time? I had to check several times that it is a new upload and not a several years old one that just popped up in the feed. Regardless, I'm super excited for the return of the inspiration series!!
Wow that’s a throwback collaboration. I always think it would be cooler these days if they used default textures but back then it definately made way more sense to use a texture pack.
the way i rushed to immediately watch the video when it popped up my youtube page. i missed this series so bad, this was an actual inspiration for me and my minecraft builds!
oh my god i started watching you back at this time jesus this is nostalgic you're genuinely one of my favourite youtubers (also one of the first i subscribed to)
I love this series, this was how I found Keralis back in the day I started watching Andy first then around the time Hermitcraft Season 6 was coming to an end and I'd also recently found Mumbo from his Walking House video so then Season 7 started and I knew Mumbo and Keralis so I decided to check it out
Omg literally last week I was scrolling through the inspiration series sad that you haven't posted one in a while! AND THEN YOU POST THIS!! I'm so happy hehe thanks Keralis
I checked, and you can actually find this place on the web! It is a single family house, but it's a bit smaller IRL. The original's a beach-front property. Everything past the pools and that road that goes under the house aren't their - the builder made those up. It's mostly just the three main building on top, the garage, and the pools. This is definitely more of a rich folk's home.
I misread the title as Hermitcraft and was concerned that you pulled like four all nighters in a row for a second 💀 What a stunning build. I live in South Florida, never seen one of these places up close but it definitely feels pretty Florida to me. The kind of build to make me weirdly nostalgic when I move out the state.
Keralis the first one is a house. And trust me, there are much bigger ones in Miami and all over Florida. If you come to Florida you can rent one out on air bnb

A legendary series has returned
The music and the Keralis just.... I can't handle it.
It brings back memories from so long ago. Summers spent building in Minecraft and listening to Keralis with his chill voice and relaxing soundtrack.

I'd like to clarify. Keralis I absolutely love the Hermitcraft series. I'm just so glad this is back ❤ live all your content ❤❤

oh the nostalgia! you even added one of the original background songs for this series, keep is coming!
I will never stop watching these. I miss the let's builds so much. Better times ❤
I spent some time on WoK almost a decade ago, and it makes me happy to see that it's still the peak of Creative communities
Woah did i travel back in time?
It's houses like these that make me wanna take some type of WorldEdit boot camp to craft some of this wizardry. Phenomenal stuff.
OMG NOSTALGIAAAA
I'm not even a huge fan of modern architecture anymore but i love this

I think the scale works really well if you consider the Minecraft player to be in the perspective of a little kid in a big house
oh my god and you even used the og music track. bless.
Someone mentioned hermitcraft being so unproblematic today and omg i remembered to check back here and unlocked a memory
I've bee watching this series since middle school. Now I have my first job as an engineer! still love these videos

This was my favorite series, it made me love building in minecraft so much more
Wow that’s a throwback collaboration. I always think it would be cooler these days if they used default textures but back then it definately made way more sense to use a texture pack.
It's a really simple thing to single out from this whole build, but I love the fences near the pool and lounging chairs.
the way i rushed to immediately watch the video when it popped up my youtube page. i missed this series so bad, this was an actual inspiration for me and my minecraft builds!
Beings me back to high school watching these types of videos from you, some great memories 😢❤
