      Hi John,
      Great tutorial, thanks!
      One question, what type of needle is the best to use for a structured cap?
      I use a Brother multi needle machine.
      Kind regards

    Hi, I have the same software. What density do you recommend on tatami fill, and satin fill for hats? Thanks!

    Thank you for putting out these videos they are so helpfulI’m quite new to digitizing and just wanted to ask how come you use “digitize blocks” instead of using “digitize closed shape” for the middle of the logos?

      Your most welcome :)Partially habit mixed with wanting full control of how the objects path and break apart.

    One of the the problem with the clients is that they always want the complete logo and many times it is taller than it is wide and the solution is better to remove the lower letters but many times they do not understand that (a headache when they do not understand that) since normally they only you have 60mm height to work

    Will you consider ZSk embroidery machines to be the best fit for embroidering hats ?

    • @EmbroideryLegacy
      @EmbroideryLegacy  2 года назад +2

      ZSK is the best engineered machine in the world and will last for decades, the price reflects those factors. That said there are many quality commercial machines on the market and like any substantial purchase it is wise to do as much research as possible and make the decision that best reflects your budget and needs.

      @@EmbroideryLegacy Thank You for your response. I just want to make sure my first multi-needle machine is a quality machine. I don't want to be buying a six or ten needle machine since I know a 18 needle machine will be a better purchase in the long run. I appreciate your feedback. Thank you

    what hoop do you select on the program?

      I don’t, every machine with a cap attachment might have differing parameters.

    Dude! Wth 🤦🏼‍♂️ this guy is the pro of all pros and why does the sample hat he is showing have embroidery that is way way WAAAAYYY TOOOO HIGH ON THE HAT.
    That hat looks terrible and it’s all rotating around at the beginning of the video and you can see it’s toooo high in the thumbnail.
    I know some hats are embroidered before custruction but I’ve seen plenty that have been embroidered as hats that are properly close to the brim.
    Look at any hat. Lower to the brim is always preferred. I couldn’t sell that crap to my customers.
    If he can’t do hats right seriously what hope is there.
    I’m not mad dear, just disappointed 😢

    • @EmbroideryLegacy
      @EmbroideryLegacy  2 года назад +1

      Agreed, it is way too high, that cap was embroidered on a 10 needle Brother. The cap frames on those models don’t allow users to get the design close to the brim of the cap (I’d never use one for cap production), totally different story if it was run on one of our ZSK machines or back in the 90’s on our 18 head Tajimas. Placement is dictated by the equipment, quality of the embroidery is dictated by the digitizing.

      Of course you gotta have $200k machine to do hats right 😢

    • @EmbroideryLegacy
      @EmbroideryLegacy  2 года назад +2

      @@planetcrap Lol, 10K for a 15 needle will do just fine. But if you want to do high volume production a large machine will help. Have a wonderful day and stay positive :)
