Grace is my bird...shes absolutely gorgeous. I love her voice her eyes and that nose..lol...sexy nose. She's a brilliant artist. Her artwork today is dead good 👍🏻
This must be around the time that Grace and Paul went to England to work on her first solo venture, 'Manhole'. Even her hairstyle @ that time matches the portrait she did of herself for the albums cover. Nice to see this interview of her and China's dad together. Talk about rare appearances!
the media made her to be all drugs and sex but ignored what an awesome singer she was. she looks too healthy here to be a hardcore drug user. maybe alcohol had a bad effect on her by the late 1970s though.
according to what i've read Grace was still enjoying alcohol and coke during this period. she said everything started loosing it's 'fun' element in the late 70's pretty much ending with her infamous 1978 performance in Germany.
she should have been a solo artist for most of the 1970s... marty balin's singing and the dull fiddle music dragged down grace's powerful singing. she should have moved to NYC during the 1970s and made all those hard guitar players like in the new york dolls and similar bands her back up musicians to make hard rock music not the dull music marty balin created.
It was never in her nature. She's said that she always saw herself as part of a band, not a frontperson. Not only that, but her songs are too weird and musically anarchic to sustain a solo career.
@@IndyDefense you obviously never listened to any of her music to make a comment like that .. what you're doing is describing every female artist out there starting with that weird hook-nosed greaser Madonna creepy music that has nothing of value
@@IndyDefense her lyrics are very intelligent talking about people in positions of power the stupidity came around 1992 where every artist was so tightly controlled and artificially promoted they had nothing to say except the same creepy things that never challenged the American system
@@IndyDefense i like Grace's compositions "Across the Board" "Fat" and "Fishman" from Baron Von Tollbooth around the time of this clip. plus I love her look here.
you might be confused on the definition of the word "hits" - Grace Slick and Marty Balin were the only two that wrote hits for the band - Slick's "White Rabbit" and Balin's "Miracles" Paul Kantner wrote classic Airplane songs - no hits.

I have never heard/seen Grace be so cool, relaxed, "calm and collected" as they say and I'm loving it!

Paul and Grace could be your next door suburban neighbors.
I would have preferred them over the ones I have, that's for sure! 😊
The question about what a teleprompter is, was crazy. 😂😂😂
Paul without a cigarette?
Great way to run a record label.
i do not sense the band's imminent demise through this interview (as claimed in 'description' by the poster of this video).
They were getting fed up with the british gouououphy assed interviewer. My favourourourourite part
Seems like they’re all high as kites
Jefferson airplane in 1973 stoned out there minds
