I do have to say, no insult intended but i appreciate seeing a hiking youtuber that isn't a superman who never seems out of breath. It is refreshing to see a "real" person do these hikes.
Lake wilks is quite exposed and steep but beautiful. I wouldn't recommend it in the wet.

No problems Sg. I'll never claim to be a superman hiker! I do see these people online and scratch my head how they make things like so easy and effortless. You gotta keep it real. Thanks for watching.

I did this track about 3 weeks before your video was filmed. I was woefully unprepared and got caught on the face where you turned back. Bloody terrifying - hiking alone, caught in a blizzard, freezing and petrified. Really frightening - beautiful but terrifying. I made it across and thanked my lucky stars that I survived. Not being melodramatic here - don't do this hike unless you are prepared! :-)

Geez Greg, glad you're OK mate. This just shows how the Cradle weather can turn on you, on any day. Good advice for all. Thanks for watching & your comments.

Thanks for delivering a wonderful view of Tasmania.
I remembered the day I went on a honeymoon from Japan.

Definitely one to put on your to-do list. I don't know why I took so long to give it a go, as it offers great views. Thanks for watching.

Awesome video, Beautiful location. I was there only 3 weeks ago but I already have the urge to go back and do more day walks.

Jeffkp Trail, yeah, Cradle Mtn offers so much in terms of day walk options. From easy right through to major efforts. Something for everyone. Thanks for watching.

How did you find the navigation of the track. Do you use an app/map or is it well marked. Planning on doing the loop in mid March , I read somewhere the face track section can be a bit hard to follow. Good to see your knee is going well. Its a rainy day in Brisbane so am spending the day watching your videos.

Anthony, the Face Track is very well marked, from either end/either side of Cradle Mtn. It has been well used by many in the past, so there is zero chance of loosing your way. Even in the snow, the track was clearly visible. Thanks for watching.
