How did you add the drawstring in the picture?

Instead of cutting the yarn at the slit, could you chain and turn around and work in the opposite direction? And just go back and forth until you reach your length?

Really cute skirt and video! One question though why do you say to set the rim of the skirt aside after the connection of both sides? It seems like you continue to add length of the skirt by crocheting rows from where you began. I’m so literal and easily confused. 🤷🏾‍♀️

I'm not really sure what you're asking. I set the waist band aside and connected it to the rim of the skirt at the end of the video.
