Same. I feel like a kid again, giddy to play. Its an amazing feeling I thought I would never have again.
That’s what I’m saying!!! It’s a game that i can finally play with my friends and genuinely have a blast. The gunplay is so fun and the abilities you have are amazing to use. I swear the game never feels old even after doing missions in the same areas on the map. Plus when we move on to different worlds it’s a breath of fresh air!

I feel as though there's a great revival with games recently. A lot of amazing indie games are shadowing triple A titles, and these mid-sized studios are on the come up to revive the rotting corpse of gaming.
@@legocat0306if you enjoy the sequel check out the first Helldivers! The sequel is so nostalgic of its first installation and I think you may enjoy a very very similar game as a top down cartoony version of what you like. That’s what got me exited about the second game. Is the same old fun gameplay mechanics

@@KenKaniff-dw4jwmy friend once called in the laser on our ship and broke it. We were all running through the ship and around it. It eventually just took off with one of us in it.
I fell in a hole & died, got an achievement for it too lmao
90% of my deaths in this game are friendly fire induced.
I always have my eyes on the enemy and carefully maneuver around them.
But I turn my back on my team and don't notice orbital barrages 😂
But I can't be mad at them. They are just so adorable while they spread managed democracy and send reinforcements for me 😊
They truly just want to keep you safe...they just have a funny way of showing it

These enemies are not the same narratively as in the first game.
They are not the cyborgs for example, they are the Automatons which appear to have no flesh bits. The bugs are also Terminids that have vastly mutated. A super earth enthusiast abord your ship mentions this as well. She says
"Did you know these aren't the same bugs as in the first galactic war? A 100 years of rapid evolution will do that"
She then talks under her breath about government experiments having an impact.
This is such a great worldbuilding!!! I love it!

I went to throw an eagle air strike to take out a group of automatons 10 seconds before extraction, i got hit, ragdolled and dropped it, and killed my squad. I love this game XD

Absolutely addicted to this game. Just hate trolling teammates who kill you right before extraction. It happens at least 2-3 times a night when I play.

The only issue is you can tell this was made pre release. The cyborgs aren’t cyborgs as such, they’re the automatons. The cyborgs still had sone remanence of their humanity, the automatons have none. The bugs also aren’t the original bugs they’re different species of bug. Am I being petty and pedantic yes, but other than that one section good short. The other 2 missing sections probably will have illuminate and 1 other mystery faction.

When you disrupt illegal broadcasts, the Automaton board says “WE HAVE OBLITERATED INEQUALITY” which may insinuate, that like the bugs, they drastically got changed.
@@bigchungus5065 the issue thay according to the democracy officer one is throw away lines is “is we forced the cyborgs back into the mines of cyberstan” meaning the cyborgs are on cyberstan, these are probably another group of rebelling augmented humans combating their Managed democracy leaders, but took the augmentation to FAR MORE DEVELOPED LEVEL. We know the bugs arent the same bugs but have evolved massively from the first bugs from the ships master. But the only mention of the cyborgs is that they’re in the mines. Meaning the automatons arent the same cyborgs as of the moment.
@@Teabag-jt What if the automatons were upgraded like the bugs for industrial purpose from cyborg who then did violent revolt (I never played the first game)
@@bigchungus5065 it’s possible. But again, we get literally nothing about the bots. The fact they called Bots implies that if they are cyberbogs they have lost all of their remaining of their humanity. Almost all the crew sound bites mention NOTHING about the bots. This is why I key in on the cyberstan line, it means the cyborgs are still in the mines, not out of them. Meaning these can’t be the same the same cyborgs, until we get more lines or anything, I’m going to stick with these are different group who take the process WAY WAY FURTHER.

My GOTY without a doubt! Love the support the game get. The is just over a month old and so many updates. New mech, flying bugs now, only out for a month an has a new battle pass. They don’t give you a road map they just drop content on your head!!!😂😂😂 you can tell the creators play and love the game they created. Fun times. This is so rare in gaming today!

The greatest 5 minute training course you'll ever virtually set foot on.
I mean if you think about it; the fact that 2-4 divers can clear an entire sector on their own against endless enemies where the pdf fails says a lot on that 5 minute course
I switched to light armor for one mission, and learned that those frost blossom things can one-shot me. YAY
This game has some of the best gameplay I’ve ever seen in a game, and I use to play battlefront 2 on ps2 so that says a lot about

I HAVE A DREAM: you're standing there watching your fellow hell divers be slaughtered and cut down by robots until you look up and see an old friend show up, an MCS carrier drops 6 titan pilots from the sky and calls in their titans, legion, tone, ronin, ion, scorch, monarch, Northstar start lighting those tyrants up in A CLOUD OF SMOKE
The way that they’ve been constantly adding content to fit the story that we’re playing out, I’d be surprised if they didn’t add the illuminate to the game eventually, it’d feel so in-theme. I hope they at least wait a few months to add them tho

I haven’t played a game like this since Titan Fall. I really enjoy this game.
This game is fun. But yeah playing solo is tedious and still a blast but with team mates it's always more manageable.
Hell divers needs a illuminate expansion and later later a new enemy completely expansion to finish it off

This game is honestly perfect for me. I’m really tapped out on normal pvp shooters and just want dumb hilarious fun with friends. This scratches that itch perfectly while feeing like it’s something more. Hope for the best for this game.

Its worrying how some people ironically think that Super Earth is a desirable place to live. its like the guy who wanted to live in night city because he figured hed make it as a mid rank executive and desired the power for himself.
Don't forget about the part where the enemies increasingly gets stronger and super Earth refuses to give us better stuff to fight them with. And sometimes f****** and destroy the weapons themselves

My buddies and I have a freaking fun time with this game!
About a third of my deaths are from my buds though, I swear! Haha
(The turrets are probably the most common friendly fire issue) haha
Just a little tip, the shotguns are extremely effective against the meat saws.
As soon as we get mechs, malevelon creek is due a nice tall glass of managed democracy
As an xbox player i consider the term "last line of defense" heresy of the highest order, we'll squash those bugs and wreck the auto bots in a week

This games great when you play on the bug front it's like starship troopers where you have fun and when you play on the robot front IT IS D-DAY AND SOMEHOW THE WESTERN FRONT ALL AT THE SAME TIME YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS WILL DIE OVER AND OVER AGAIN
I joined another squads game, accidentally dropped my drop pod right on a squadmates head killing him instantly and got kicked out of the squad 😂😂😂

I have a crack theory that super Earth is already dead or no longer looking outward after a civil war. The Helldivers and potentially an automated "command" computer continues to clone them and fight the enemies.
