Moose, you’re the best. WFAN, Audacy, whenever is in charge, if you’re looking at the numbers please let it show that NO ONE LIKES Sal and BT. Give us the Moose!
The Yankee fan on the call don’t understand that the Mets just started increasing the payroll 4 years ago and mostly due to Cohen inherit a horrible outdated structure. If he didn’t increase the payroll to that level they would have completely irrelevant. Yankees have had one of the highest Payroll since the 90’s with the same people running the baseball ops that’s why they are held such a high standard when it comes to having an incomplete roster and a high payroll.
As a new owner it took Steve some time to get his footing. He went through a lot of managers and GM’s. But, it looks like he’s getting the hang of things now and some of his moves are starting to pay off.
Thank you Moose. What Nestor said isn’t true, they aren’t contenders every year. Last year the Yankees missed the playoffs. 2022 they got humiliated by the Astros in a sweep. 2021 they got into the playoffs on the last day of the season and got beat up in Boston in the Wild Card. This arrogant attitude of “oh we can’t be criticized” starts at the top with Hal and spreads down to Cashman, Boone, and the players.
No serious person thinks anything is proven one way or another when a team loses a one game playoff. And if you're in the ALCS, regardless of outcome, you were a championship contender that year.
@@snerdtergusonWhat about the 162 games before the wild card where they were mediocre? 2022 they were horrendous offensively the second half. 2019 was the last time they were legitimately good enough to win the WS.
Born and raised in Boston, Red Sox fan, since 2004 never thought W.S. 4 - 1 in favor of Red Sox. I miss the days when Yankees and Red Sox hated each other, it was a respectable hate. It made those games exciting. Now everyone is buddy buddy. Not the same... 9:27
Forgive Nestor, thats why he is who he is. For him to be a 5th starter is already a major achievement. If he's brighter n has higher IQ or motivation, he would hv been an Ace
Moooooose! Real Yankee fan. Real nice guy. Always treated me like I was the king of NY, at WFAN fan functions. I'll never forget that. Fan 4 life. Much better listen than BT & Sal, in my opinion, but then again, I'm biased towards Mark!
i'm not content i wasn't even a Yankees fan in the late 90s because i was a child but as i watched the team in my teenage years even as a adult i embraced the mindset. championship or bust that's the bottom line there is no way around that.
The problem with the Yankees is their payroll and lack of young talent. The following players are eating up the payroll and not preforming, or constantly injured: Stanton , DJ, Rizzo, Torres, Rodon.
I think it’s okay to say we when referring to a team. Without the fans, there wouldn’t be a team. I also view it more of an “we” referring to the city. Like “We won the World Series!” Yeah the team won it by playing, but they also brought it to the city so the city also sort of won it. That’s just how I look at it
Oh FFS...The only people that think that everyone should be genuflecting in front of the Yankees... are the Yankees and their fans. The Yankees opponents are professional ball players and take just as much pride in their game and skills as the Yankees, that somehow believe they levitating above all others.
5:48 That ASG *was* a borefest, although I watched at work! And why was Judge swinging at the 1st pitch vs. Skenes? Work the count, you nerd, lol. Soto didn't go up there, flailing away 🤣
Imagine investing 313 millions into a team and a pitcher is tweeting such garbage. He's content on being on contention. Content! Hal should grow up and demand this looser gone. GONE! The Boss should have sold the team
I'm optimistic because the Yankees have Gerrit Cole. In 1978 the Yankees had Ron Guidry who started out 15-1. Cole is a hall of famer while Guidry is not. Ĥal inherited his money so he's unsure of his riches and the Yankees being mega rich. The far future is unknown to him. He sees Cashman refusing to trade away future hof Derek Jeter and Mariano Rivera to his screaming father. Cashman's weakness is he didn't know Donaldson and other veterans were over the hill. Also they should have traded away Miguel Andujar, Clint Frazier and Esteban Florial when other teams wanted them. Getting Sony Gray instead of Justin Verlander was a big mistake. However the Yankees need to prospect hug and not trade away Jasson "the Martian" Dominguez and Spencer Jones. They have great tools. I never believed Frazier, Andujar and Florial have great tools. Soto loves Aaron Judge and the huge Dominican New York fan base. No pressure here as this NYC native and lifetime Yankee fan since 1959 has been living in Miami, Florida since 2004. I have seen a lot of Yankees baseball in my lifetime. I was taken to games as a 2 year old in 1961. Your blood pressure must be high with all that screaming. 😡 😂 BTW Clarke Schmidt ŵill be back.
You are aware that the Yankees beat the Orioles two put of three games in Baltimore? Sure two defensive players made errors. The Yankees were TWO OUTS AWAY FROM SWEEPING BALTIMORE IN CAMDEN YARDS!
This really puts into perspective where the fans are at though. They aren't used to this consistently happening. Its new pain. Mets fans have seen it, lived it, acclimated, and are just happy we now have the right people doing the right things. Sometimes it sucks but its better than hell. Perspectives man.

The Orioles were swept by the Cubs and had multiple players going to the All-Star game they were on break before the break. The Yankees playing the Orioles at that time was Just What the Doctor Ordered for the Yankees.
Marc spitting straight facts.

19 was because of the juiced balls . Their pitching suckef
@@fernandoposada5440yea, Gleyber hit 38 homers, Gardy and DJ had 25+. They literally had to start Chad Green as an opener in Game 6 vs Houston.
I believe that was the second game green had started in that series since sevy could only start once
Miss the Moose on Fan!
Nestor posting a 6.00 ERA when he isn't in New York. How about you pitch better.
What’s his record at home

Cortez gotta GO!!!
Ohtani just hot busted for roids
@TheodoreRizzo just because he's chinese doesn't mean that he doesn't do the roids, his boyfriend just talked to the media- look it up all star
He stinks
That was probably Cashman burner account 😂😂
😂😂😂 Cortez is probably his second persona
The Yankees traded away all the star players for a rental in Soto. They have no trade bait now and Soto is going where the money is.
I wrote this on Nestor Cortez's tweet
WIN just WIN
And I'm a yankee fan
Nestor trying to save his own rear end come the trade deadline or end of the season lol
Giving Moose credit for getting this fired up about a 3 day old tweet.

wow $654 million of profits last season no wonder the Yankees get criticized frightfully so with that kind of money you better win
